@GBincProductions It should ALWAYS be first, that record is unmatched in every field. A masterpiece of an album cover, an album with near-perfect music that way WAY ahead of its time, as well as incredible production value and concept, by the most influentual band in history that changed the world... Sgt Pepper can never be improved or bettered by any band...
@grzesiekdomeyko What, by some random power metal band? NO, you should never include albums by bands nobody cares about, top lists are for albums that are superior and important to music.
dude your really stuck in the past! the most recent band in your 5 videos is red hot chilli peppers.. shows how much research you really did in you favourite music OF ALL TIME!
@alvinsinge98 Wow golly! It was #5 on rolling stone that means it should be #5 on here! How about no? It was my list, if I had the same list as rolling stone wouldn't that be a little boring?
I also did not see, The Queen Is Dead, Ocean Rain, The Stone Roses, Blonde On Blonde (I think you may have this one....), The Velvet Underground and Nico Verve, Urban Hymns, Sonic Youth, Surrealistic Pillow, Horses, The Clash, Paul's Boutique (that's way better than that Eminem trash), Kind Of Blue, Grace, A Love Supreme, Eat A Peach, London's Calling, The Clash, Parklife, New York Dolls, Come On Pilgrim, Music From The Big Pink, Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.....ETC!
DUMB ASS, he goes by albums, not songs. He just uses samples of songs from the album to represent the album, dumb shit. READ THE FUCKING TITLE, or get the FUCK OUT.
@JaackPat Yeah I disagree with a lot of it too. Now that I taken music for 2 years I have learned to experiance different music and if I made this again then I assure you it would be much much better.
@ecwmatt sorry my bad.... realized it a bit after i posted the comment..... bloody youtube confused me with wrong suggestions..... anyway keep up the good work, i kinda enjoyed ur list...
good list, but a couple of things i don't agree with (just my opinion as this video is yours) - 1. I think the Beatles are very overrated, i only understand a couple of their songs. Dark side i agree with, though maybe the wall should be up there somewhere, and finally, i think Primal scream 'screamadelica' should be up the top, that's a great album throughout. But that's what i think :) good list
You have to listen to every song in Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band IN ORDER as the group intended us to listen to it. It's truly the greatest composition of all-time and it deserves the respect it has earned. Therefore, although Dark Side of the Moon is phenomenal, The Beatles deserve the top spot for yet another list. Otherwise, great list. Must of taken A LOT of time and work..
Why is Abbey Road not number 1 that album had the most difinative songs of the Beatles career and plust AMAZING songs never matched by any other band ever
I was praying for 10 seconds that this person didn't overlook Led Zeppelin 2, which is my personal favorite hard rock album of all time.... Thank God he saved himself lol
@cypri0t the queen? Album sales don't represent greatest. Otherwise Thriller would be #1. And Beyonce, Taylor Swift and probably Justin Bieber would be on here.
Are you saying they aren't overrated? I never said they weren't good, but they are overrated. Sgt. Peppers is nowhere near the beatles best, Led Zeppelin has much better albums then LZ 2 (listen to LZ3 or houses of the holy) and Dark Side of the moon is not nearly as good as Animals or The Wall.
@TopTenCrew Hmm well maybe your right about LZ2 and Dark Side of the moon but Sgt. Pepper is the most revolutionary album of all time, IMO its nowhere near overrated. And thou Abbey road, Let it be naked and White album are probably better they aren't as influential as Sgt. Pepper =)
@AMERICANEAGLE77AB haha thanks but this isn't top 100 albums it's top 100 songs and check the other parts for Rolling Stones songs. Also in my top 100 albums videos there are Rolling Stones albums.
Amazing list...you have a great musical taste...but i think that Led Zeppelin II should be a little lower than 3, it's definitely top 20. Also, I think that Sgt. Pepper is the GREATEST album of all time! It was so much more influential than The Wall. Just my opinion though. AMAZING LIST!!
DAMN I was close. I kinda skipped to #1 and guessed Piper at the Gates of Dawn. It's kinda hard to just call something a "Best Album", but I would certainly say that these are the most influential albums.
Also, maybe it's on part 2 or 3 but I thought King Crimson's "In the Court..." should be up there seeing that it is often called the first progrock album of all time (at least the first recognized progrock album).
BEATLES! BEATLES! BEATLES! BEATLES! WHO CARES ABOUT PINK FLOYD! BEATLES! BEATLES! BEATLES!BEATLES! They never did anything good after Ummagumma, who cares about that cheesy cash register sound? Elevator music! Elevator music!
Boo! Sgt. Pepper, not that piece of trash! I'm sorry, but I don't like Floyd. Don't like Steely Dan or Michael Jackson, but thanks for Hendrix. How could you?
Overall I thought the list was well compiled and fairly typical for a best albums list on par with something a magazine like rolling stone would write. Personally I'm not a fan of pink floyd although I understand why you put it where you did and it is an acceptable choice. My top ten probably would have included (in no particular order);
Abby road, Birth of the cool, Songs in the key of life, and In The Court Of The Crimson King however.
@shadrac10 Ok. This is not the top songs of all time. It is TOP ALBUMS. I have Appetite for destruction album from Guns and Roses. Let It Be, A night at the opera, The Black Album and Led Zeppelin IV. And I think I have the Rolling Stones album that has Angie on it. Also I have the Album Hotel California with that as the song so you should watch the video if your going to comment on it.
@butterflyrperty nope dark side of the moon is still the greatest album ever and greatest hits dont count...id rather see moving pictures in there and number of the beast
hmmm man this is a bad list I agree with sgt peppers, heres my list 1.led zeppelin 2.back in black 3.sgt peppers lonely hearts club tie revolver 4.dark side of the moon 5.appetite for destruction 6.abbey road 7.a night at the opera 8.good bye yellow brick road 9.the wall 10.whos next
@roflcopter6991 I second that notion. Although they are all awesome albums IV is the best, II is second. II is the best guitar album. You cant say I is better than IV cause IV was totally original and on I they used alot of songs from yardbirds and other blues artists.
A day in the life is a great song but it is not # two and HOLY SHIT no Let it be or the GREATEST SONG OF ALL TIME Imagine.

@roflcopter6991 I second that notion. Although they are all awesome albums IV is the best, II is second. II is the best guitar album. You cant say I is better than IV cause IV was totally original and on I they used alot of songs from yardbirds and other blues artists.
