I think he may merit a few places higher. Stewart Francis is a truly great comedian problably because he is a producer of great one-liners, which on their own are better than the one's Jimmy Carr comes up with. The key aspect to Jimmy Carr that gives me cause to rate him more highgly than Stewart Francis is that he comesup with moe one-linersthan stewart Francis, an at a much younger age.

Presmably, this man still has leaps and bounds to move forward in his career, as he treats it like a job.

Jimmy Carr's not bad, but was way too high on the list. This show sucked. The whole thing was just one big demonstration of the availability heuristic - they may as well have called it the 100 greatest British stand ups, as the public was largely ignorant of world comedians. I mean c'mon, George Carlin came 62nd, and was beaten by the likes of Graham fucking Norton (49th) and that rambling lardass Johnny Vegas (43rd). It was a fucking travesty. The public doesn't know shit about comedy.
