@smokingmcbongwater No prob man, yeah but it depends if you open it up and the wheel is holding discs too far at an angle and you have cleaned the mirror like I show here then just adjust the wheel until the disc is straight again, meaning when it spins it will not wobble closer to the lens.
@slayer1561 Niiiice...makes me happy thanks for letting me know spread the word to help others that is what this was meant to do although long winded and crazy it does it's job. You like slayer? I fucking love Slayer dude!
This is the absolute Best Ps2 fix and well presented to , I can understand what is said and you have a sense of humor about it too. I've Fixed 3 Ps2s thanks to watching this fix vid and also now keep an Aero Duster in for other console repair , fixed an old school game boy n' 2 gameboy colors and even an original Ps1 the type with POWER / OPEN on the buttons that had over heating probs . so thanks yah I'll spread the word right on
I saw a lot of misinformation on here and other places and after some real world experience decided to help others and thanks man I like to hear that this vid is serving its damn purpose!
No...NO. Do not listen to this people it is just wrong, never blow with your mouth. Also do NOT polish CDs with toothpaste it may work in the short term so you can get "one last hurah from a disc" But that does not mean that it will stay that way long, my advice: Go get a disc doctor and do it right. Using a Hoover? Are you retarded? Also who said I wanted your little poor man's tut on this vid?
right, I find it very annoying that this was designed to allow any dust to get into that cavity...sort of crooked and purposely done if you ask me so I had to do this considering I find out by accident. Glad to see someone back me up.
Yes and I remember talking to you...look at the disc from angles under a light see all those little scratches? Yeah that's why...or your lens...I don't know.
Yes unless you do not take care of DVDs, think about it people out there: Data is written on the disc if you scratch it or the eye is not able to read it what happens? That's correct it skips or does not play at all. OR you have a major hardware problem either way clean the lens, just be careful. read a guide on doing it like I had. Good luck!
can very scratched games fuck up the reading lens?. just wonderin

Hey bro, my ps2 takes a long time to read a few disks and once it reads it, it lags and loads slowly.
Do u think my lens hasa something to do with it?
