  • hey,umm well this story is based on something thaty happens up the road from my house, she died in a car reck on this bridge from 13 brides road, now she haunts the bridge and hitches rides from men and when they pull up into the driveway she vanishes! i love this song, and the story is true. and btw it IS based on a road by my house.

  • Oh my gosh...I grew up on some of Red Sovine's music too, and I'm a wuss when it comes to his tearjerkers...Dad still gets a chuckle out of finding a song of his he doesn't think I've heard b4 & playing it when I visit my parents. He was just telling me about this song this weekend when I was visiting for Father's Day, and I cried even in his telling. Now I cried again, and called and played it for him. Thanks for posting, and giving me an excuse to reach out to Dad again! :-)
