Save the dream program is a joke. I was not behind on my mortgage. I called them ,they told me all the paper work they needed. I got that ,drove 100 miles to meet them. They went over my paper work and told me I qualify. They called my bank and asked them to modify my loan.The bank said no so Nacca said sorry we can't make them do anything.So guess what no mortgage mod. So this program should me called lets make a joke! Email me if you can prove me wrong!

NACA Is the worst organization EVERY! I work for FHA and they have borrowers calling for assistance who have NO hope. Borrower are 40 plus months delinquent and expecting a miracle. NACA is NOT GOD!! … The HOPE that Borrowers need is JOBS!!! When Borrowers call and say they have not worked in 3 years, but want to stay in 300K homes????.... The entire system is a JOKE…

NACA does work IF you are prepared. You must follow their processes and be patient. Do not bring your children! This is a business transaction that will require 110 % of your attention to be successful. When you get to step 3 (sitting with banker) remember to stay calm, be nice but remember you are negotiating and you might need to fight (i.e. don't accept a crappy offer). We were successful, it took almost 3 days but now have a fixed 2 percent (P and I) payment. Saving us $500 per mth.

Naca is effective they were in los angeles this past weekend and got my mortgage knocked down by $600 i was there 51 hours but im up 6 bills!!!! good lookin naca!

Camped out for 3 days with kids, relatives, friends and neighbors on a cold weather, we all got sick and what??? Nothing! Calling for the status still need an appointment, sending email takes 3 weeks to reply and they're telling us that we are missing some docs? All of us had same missing docs? What a joke!!!

NACA is a waste of time, my mother spent months talking to these people, filling out tons of paperwork, faxes, phone interviews you name it and they didn't do a damn thing. By all means she qualifies for assistance, but NACA failed to pursue helping her. A year later, no results, no word from them. God knows what they'll do with her utmost confidential personal information.

@beast6228 Call your mother's lender and find out the reason of denial or why nothing has been done on her mortgage. Most of the times the lender would have a specific reason for the denial. If the she does not make enough income, move in with her and change all your mailing info to the property address and apply again, good luck.

People, dont get discouraged. Please attend this if you get a chance, if you need NACA you have more time than money and have nothing to loose. I went from $3,672 a month to $1,856 at 2% for 40 years or remainder of life including property tax and insurance with Indy Mac bank nat NO CHARGE! GOD BLESS YOU OUT THERE AND GOOD LUCK!

This is not true I also have one charge card with a balance and I was able to receive a 2% financing from Wells Fargo, it depends on your spending

Well attended the event today and despite rumors of 2% financing for even the unemployed I was turned down due to having 2500.00 in credit card debt therfore disqualifying me from Obamas help plan. I make a good living at my job of 13 years and am only behind due to an upside down mortagage and increasing property taxes. If you owe on your credit cards dont even bother with wells fargo.
