That fight between Frasier and Niles is the most powerful scene in the whole series. I could watch it over and over again, it's loaded with hard feelings and the tention between the two brothers have never been stronger then that moment.

I will never understand why Simon was on this show. He's like the Jar Jar Binx of Frasier. Could they not find an actual English actor for the role?

@joeromel1 ...that's a spot-on analysis. Anthony LaPaglia is an Aussie, which must have been an eyesore for the Brits watching over the pond in syndication. - I mean, he's kinda representing the modern English bloke. I agree that he does lower the caliber of the show somewhat, but then again, those lines of his, regardless of the actor, are just annoying...the character should have been Daphne's other, more comedic brother, Michael, played by the wonderfully versatile Robbie Coltrane, a Scot!

@mrplatink Yeah, definitely. The character is meant to be annoying to Frasier and Daphnie, but I don't think they intended him to be annoying to the audience, haha. On a show that didn't plug in celebrities unless they were right for it, I'm very surprised that they put him on. He really sticks out. I don't know if its the accent that throws him off or what, but he's always "acting" as opposed to just being the character, and it shows.
