Yep I was one of the kids too. Beach scenes were shot at Narrabeen, and some other scenes at Balmoral and in a studio in Paddington. I think I got $80 for a day off school... which was a lot of money if you use the "paddle-pops-were-five-cents-in-them-days" index.

The kid in the vid is a she not a he & that kid in the vid is me! (35yrs ago)The promo was for a hat and an iron on transfer for a T-shirt.
What a blast from the past to find this here.!
p.s understandable mistake, my long blonde hair & piercing blue eyes weren't clear in the vid. lol(no really !!)
