"One Thing" is a great song, keep in mind Wind Up is a small label and the band never records or releases anything they don't want to. it wasn't a sell out move it was just a song they were all amped on. James and Scott were so excited on the DVD of them in the studio creating it, it was originally supposed to be banjo and vocals but they felt it was too countryish for that album, it's nottheir fault it was a hit. all of their other singles from that album flopped

I think they need to do some drugs or something or blow a bunch of money so they have some strife in their lives because the last 2 albums were crap. It's really hard to top Tip. The lyrics are encrypted unlike now where he tells you stories in perfect sentence structure. That leaves nothing to the imagination; nothing to create its own way of relating to us.

This is vintage F11 when they still had that genius spark of creativity. Sorry, but being a long time fan since The Rainbow Butt Monkey days, their self-titled album seemed to be just a poor, poor attempt to break into the US "rock" music scene by using overly watered down hooks and lyrical content. Here's to hoping the next album is a return to their catchy-yet-soulful creative side.
