im 12 in 7th grade and all i wear is very light blush and some cover up (for zits and stuff). but also lucky me for having really dark long curled eyelashes xD so it just looks like im wearing mascara anyway. :) i dont want to have ten million wrinkles when im older.

I think 12 is way too young to wear makeup... she looks beautiful without it she's just a child in my eyes..Times sure have changed.lol I didn't wear makeup till I was well over 16. But teens now a days wear makeup at 6 yrs oldKids trying to be adults way to soon in my opinion and they are attracting the wrong kind of attention from men. I have a daughter too and I would not let her get glam med up at 12 sorry. She can wear a book on her face at least she'll learn something from a book.

Where are your parents and what are they doing that they don't care about what you put on your face. I am going to worry about my kids trust me.. No way in HELL my daughter will slap makeup on her at 12 .

@annasbeautysecrets once again YOUR OPINION. my dad thinks it's fine that i were a bit of makeup. i wear mascara and lip balm. for more special things i'll wear a skin color eyeshadow. but not for school. it's not a normal persons opinion IT'S YOURS. my mom died when i was 11. my dad says if i wear too much makeup then he will make me tak it off before i leave the house. that's how i am being raised. and if you have a problem with it then build a bridge and GET OVER IT.

@SummersLove97 ok well you need to be clear when you say what you wear.. a little mascara and natural barely there makeup is not so so bad.. I was thinking you wear full makeup. And if its ok with your dad than okay.Seems your dad has normal sense that if you wear too much he makes you take it off. Now that I'm clear with your situation.Sorry to hear about your mom. Someday you will be a mom and only then will you understand what I meant.Only when you are a parent yourself can you understand .

@annasbeautysecrets oh i would never wear foundation and powder and all that stuff! only when i'm older. i'm a 7th grader and this 6th grade girl at my school wears foundation, and it's so terrible because it's ruining her skin! and thank you, i'm sorry! :)

@SummersLove97 that's true , foundation does ruin your skin ! I am about to be a 7th grader and I am 12 years old and this is what I think is normal soft makeup and what I use : first I curl my lashes and put some transparent mascara , some translucent powder ( a tiny amount) and soft pink blush , some lip stain or some soft rosy lipstick and just a lil bit of lipgloss for some shine. And sometimes when i have very dark circles i put a lil bit of concealer with SPF great for taking care of skin

@thewaco222 Makeup is not a necessary ! We girls are beautiful just the way we are . Without makeup we should be able to feel confident about ourselves . We should feel pretty . Makeup is not for fixing you ! and eye shadow and mascara i think are a lil bit too dramatic for a 12 year old . Not something that you see everyday . Girls that age don't need eye shadow ! It's not something that you see daily ( my opinion)

lol im 12 and i love to wear lots of makeup!!! nothing like foundation or eyebrow stuff but i love heavy blck eyeliner, honey coloured cheeks and ruby red lipstick. i wear it to school all the time. i know i shudnt but i still do!!!! pretty make up look tho!!! xxx
