  • where did you get that sound effects from ?

  • Very cool! If it was gray-scaled, it could have totally been part of Limbo! ♥ Great work - nice pacing and rhythm to it. Felt organic.

  • @PS3ZioNixX That's one thing that makes it so hard xDD There are tons of various tutorials xD. But i guess after a while you'll memorize everything.

Still i got to learn Sony Vegas first before i try something new :)

  • @HoneyThingTing

    Good luck ;)

You'll be amazed by what Sony Vegas can do ^^

  • Brings to mind the cinematic pieces of the Pagans in the Thief games. Nice work, looks really nice and sounds just as well.

  • Whoops, i accidently posted with someone else's account. it's done in After Effects. the effect is called vector paint, applied with the 'animate strokes' mode. it really is a lot easier than it looks.

  • Nice job.

  • i wonder where can i get tht tutorial ::

    it's really fantastic..

  • The effect looks nice and I'm not trying to discourage learning with it but movies seem to overuse it. I mean use to the point of it being a sign of laziness and cheapness. Why are so many multimillion dollar movies showing these same effects at the end with the credits? Why can't they be more original?

  • yeah, I know what you mean. And you're absolutely right. It's nothing special really, just kinda fun to do. :)

  • where did u get the elements from?

  • made 'em with my wacom tablet.

  • woah! that must have taken some time... Anyways.. how did u animate it?

  • nah, it's deceptively easy to do actually... use the vector paint effect, paint a vine stalk, set it to "animate strokes," then go to the different stages of the animation and draw on branches and offshoots when it gets to them.

  • great job, nice touch of creativity

  • Great work! I really love the depth of field. Also, the sound effects are fantastic; they add immensely to the overall feel.

  • LOL This is why I love youtube.

anyways this is in no way a homosexual video infact it's super well done! gg!

  • haha, i know right? hell hath no fury like youtube denizens.

    thanks man.

  • What the heck?!?! your gay meanie!!! :(

  • i know!

    the vid is awesome!

  • troll detected, 2/10.

  • you can't spell supposed or waste. your argument is invalid.

  • That was really REALLY well done. I'm almost this level so I can appreciate your work. Now I just need a wacom...

  • hey, thanks man. oh yeah, a wacom is a biig improvement over a mouse. serpentine lines with varying thickness adds a whole dimension of elegance over fat bland mouse lines.

  • how do you animate the plants?!

  • i used the after effects vector paint effect. of course, it makes it look much better if you use a wacom tablet.

just draw the stem and set the playback mode to 'animate strokes.' then you can move around the time slider and draw on all the branches at appropriate times. if you use white vector paint on a black solid, you can then use it as a luma matte for transparency when you precompose.
