so beautiful :) I got introduced to this composer by my dad. Where could I find the sheet for this specific arrangement on the internet? or any other arrangement for guitar?
That's very good, beautifully played. I've just got the same transcription from Jean Francois Delcamp. Had one years ago but lost it. This one is better I think.
I've just downloaded the pdf of this version (I had another arrangement by Y. Onishi but this one's better). It's nice to feel vindicated by seeing you do all the refingerings that I do!
Google says today is the 144 birth anniversary of Enrique Granados. Playing or listening to his music is the best way we can remember him. Thanks for this fantastic song.
I heard this on radio, did not know who enrique granados was, Just heard the name of the piece and searched for so much time to find this. Absolutely beautiful piece, and the way you play it is amazing. I am an amateur guitarist but will still try this. Thanks
Congratulations on your wonderful clean trill ... that is so difficult to get right even in duet ..and, here, you're doing it solo. Lovely interpretation .. seldom done solo ...thanks!
This little danza, seemingly miniaturist on the piano, is among the lasts of Granados' magnificient 12 to enjoy (or suffer) guitar solo transcriptions, owing to it's partial polyphony+third structure, which is not readily suitable for guitar idiom. (although arrangements for guitar duo abound.) Delcamp's transcription is even more faithful than Jose Luis Gonzalez's, and the performance here fully conveys the mysterious melancholy of the original. A crowning achievement in every aspect!
just like other have said. excellent performed. beautiful piece. which i will play this piece soon. is that a australia guitar that you play. the sound of lattice braced. super clean and bright and seperation of note. who make of your guitar thank.
Ahhh...wonderfully played. Heard this piece in the 80´ties with Los Romeros(on LP of course), on 2 guitars. Didnt think it would work on solo guitar, but you absolutely succed. ps: I love the guitar..fantastic sound.
Thanks for the motivation man! I'd only heard this played as a duet before this. Almost as fun to watch as it is to listen. Going to practice right now!
I would like to know if these transcription are PUBLISHED, would like to play these piece. Thank You for posting - i did not think someone could play this on a Solo Guitar, I was so used to listening to Alexander Lagoy / Ida presti Guitar Duo Recordings of the Past.
Dear Denian, Beautiful piece of music and so beautifully played! I want to master it myself. But, it seems rather difficult to me. If you have a scale from 1 tot 5, 1 being easy and 5 very difficult, what degree would you give to this piece?
Dear Denian, a really beautiful piece of music and so beautifully played. And so relaxed! But, I wonder, It seems very difficult to me. So a question: when the level of difficulty would be 1 (easy) to 5 (very difficult), which level is this please? Thanks!
Magnificent as always Denian, despite it is a very challenging piece, u still handled it so smoothly; and u totally captured the poetic quality of that piece.
i've been searching for a good transcription of this peace for one guitar for so long now. your interpretation of delcamp's version is just wonderful. thank you!
Hello Denian, great interpretation, it is the best I have heard so far on youtube, I was wondering do you think I could get a copy of this version you are playing. Thank you for the video!
Many thanks elduendecillo - the score is available to members of the Delcamp classical guitar forum, please go ahead and join, you will be very welcome there.
Forgive me. For some reason I thought you spoke French. Your playing touched my heart. You are extremely talented and it was a very great pleasure to hear this piece played with such beauty, emotion and style.
Thank you very much indeed, that is a lovely comment and I appreciate it. I don't speak French but I understand it reasonably well, especially when written.
Splendid ! I didn't know a version for guitar solo existed (I ve been looking for one for years ) Mr Delcamp made a fantastic job and your interpretation is amazing . Thanks for sharing !
Magnificent performance, greatly resolved for solo guitar. Incredible how you nail those cross-string thrills and the emotion displayed on the lead voice at the middle section . Perfect!
Wow. Great you decided to play this. I used to have a CD with these dances featuring Manuel Baruecco. It was so good, that it has disappeared among my friends borrowing it :)
Your performance is so good, that I immediately remembered that CD. superb!
You play with such amazing ease and perfection, and their is always direction and shape to your interpretations. I am very impressed. If you don't mind my asking, who were your teachers? Anyone known internationally?
Well, teachers I have had in the past that you would have heard of are David Russell (two or three private lessons about twenty years ago), and much more regularly, the guitarist and composer Gilbert Biberian.
