  • Are Gig-fx-pedals True/hardwire bypass??? please recommend

  • @TR1VO5 These aren't truebypass, but instead have a very clean buffered bypass. I don't notice any loss of tone. I use the Pro-chopper as well in series by the way.

  • Bad pedal! >:P

  • This is the best pedal I've ever heard BUT it has a design flaw. There is an optical switch under the heal where a rubber nub keeps the treadle from touching the housing. The rubber nub flexes/squishes when you step down on the heal with your weight. Eventually you'll hyper extend a part inside that eventually breaks. I used mine for two weeks before it broke and I am very respectful of my gear. Be sure to replace the nub with something much stronger and harder.

  • enjoyed the review CARL SAGAN !

  • Prefer ma Cry baby man!!..can mess about with the stereo imaging etc after in software with out the Hard work!! cool demo vid though for newbies.

  • This is on EBAY right now for $100 Buy-it-now. Great deal!

  • I have this pedal and it's awesome!! This video isn't making it justice to be honest. There is also a function that is called mega-mega wah that works making a loop in the stereo inputs and outputs creating an overwhelming "metal" wah sound, since it multiplies the bass response and the resonance x 2! And btw this guy sucks using the wah!

  • @HeilTheOperator i you can do it better load a a demo. would like to hear that "mega-mega wah" which might be really intense

  • @TR1VO5 Of course, I just need time to do it. And believe me, is pretty intense.

  • Does it have stereo inputs?

  • Yes - the video said so.

  • Hi - if you go to the gig-fx website there are stereo MP3s and a stereo jukebox.

  • can anyone help me? I'm looking for a wah with as little frequency loss as possible for around £150, i heard this one was good, but are there any others worth taking into account??

  • Trust me, man. The Gig-FX Mega will make you happy. If not, try finding a Snarling Dog Mold Spore wah - superb pedal, difficult to find.

  • Too bad the auto-wah's rate isn't controlled by the pedal. That could be really useful for live adjusting, and for weirdness.

  • O'Malley must have a hater, because I always see a 1 star rating within the first 10 views.

  • Not just a hater for him, but for Gearwire in general, its because of that old Dan Agusto dude that did less than stellar reviews.

This guy is much much better though, people on youtube can be pricks though.

  • I only vote 1 star if they talk about boring things. If they talk about effect pedals or guitars or basses, or other cool stuff, I always vote 5 stars.
