  • Thanks SO MUCH for making this video!! I've been a pumper for about 5 years now and just got the cgm and your video was SO helpful to me!! Bless your heart! I hate young people having diabetes and going through all of this! :( I was diagnosed type 1 at the age of 25. I worry of my children being at high risk! Thanks again!!

  • Thanks for posting the video. I got my MiniLink cgms today, I have an appointment with a trainer next week, but I know how to RTFM and watch YouTube, so I started using it tonight.

    Thanks again.

P.S. I've been using insulin for over 20 years (since I was 15)

  • i just got my first CGM (second pump thought) and looking at that giant needle i was kinda scared! but your video helped me out a lot thanks so much for this!

  • Thanks so much for this video. I just got mine last week, and haven't used it yet, I'm kinda scared but your video made this a little easier.

  • I was using my CGM regularly until I started getting what looked and felt like a chemical burn from the tape. I tried all different types of tape but it was so bad I gave up my CGM. I had never ever had any problems with tape before. My sugar was sooo good when I used it, I'm going to try going back to it again (sugar not bad now, but it's awesome with the CGM). I'm 42 and have juvenile diabetes (got at 14 or 15). I needed a reminder to use this again and you were all I needed! Thanks so much!

  • @tsheff1 - maybe some Benadryl cream would help?

  • @tsheff1 My son has trouble with adhesive too. One of our doctors told us to use flonase spray on the skin and let it dry before inserting. We have no more Chem. burns.

  • Thank you so much for your post, my husband just got his CGM today, and had no idea how to place it. He was very proud and impressed with you since he has worked with kids and teenagers @ juvenile diabetes camps. I was crying because you had to go through this and he was proud that at such a young age you take control and do it yourself. Continue taking great care of yourself.

  • Thanks for reminding me how to put in my sensor ! You saved me a trip to my endo! Thanks.

  • Hi TheLulu043098, awesome video! I am old enough to be your parent, but you taught me a few great things! Keep up the good work, and don't let your blood sugar get too low! You are an amazing young lady who is knowlegable, confident, and beautiful! I am going to practice with my sensor tonight, because my doctors have been on my case for not using the cgm. Thanks again!

  • Excellent video, and thanks for taking the time to share with others. You obviously have a good kind heart to make the effort to help others by sharing this valuable information.

  • @scottgius thank you :D
