If a person from 2010 went back in time with an iPhone, I imagine how it could be viewed by a person from 1985 as being "ultra-futuristic".

Ideas for Fringe 1985:

-Lasers are used to cut off the arms and legs of mental patients and attached to soldiers that lost body parts.

-A stealth plane can soak up radar and then shoot the radar back out to destroy anything it hits.

-A group uses it's DNA database to create clones of random people for assassinations.

-And of course, a terrible AI will destroy us all episode.
