Really great, but I've been watching this forever and can't seem to find a strumming pattern that works or picking pattern that works. The one mentioned before doesn't seem right
i use a lanikai s-t. the strings in this video are GHS which btw are wack, but still sounded ok because its a lanikai. I use worth clears now so it sounds warmer.
i do plan on putting up more vids. I know a choke load of radio covers but haven't made any vids. mahalos
when you down strum, be sure to open your hand and cover all the strings. You can get away with it sometimes but that would be the best way. Practice chunking with just your right hand, no chord. then when you get used to it, try chunking while holding a G or something. that should help.
imo, strumming is kinda hard to explain for me bcuz i just either freestyle it or i copy the actual song. I would listen to the track and play along with it and whatever you feel sounds good, play it.
ur actually way wrong on two of these chords. the first chord is an f minor you are correct but the second chord is not a c minor its a d sharp major and the third chord is not an a sharp minor or whatever u sed its a c sharp and the last chord is a g sharp major
i personally wouldn't have said something like that but whoever hawaiianon is is just a retard your basically playing the relative minor chords of the right chords so yeah in the background the uke track wouldn't be that terrible but i felt i needed to tell that person off sry
Is that you Raymond J.? Its James D. from Hogan..Whut up..I know a couple songs on tha uke but having trouble posting em. Your pritty good meng. Thanx for da instructional.
hey man thanks for the help. i play it a little different on the chords with a Fm, Eb,Db,Ab. i tried both and i think i like those chords a little better but id be interested to hear what you think? and your strum pattern rocks i def. stole that. thanks for passing it on.
That actually sounds really good. A lot of the same notes are there. I think if you played on the guitar, your chords would be easier to play. I play mostly by ear and these this is how i heard it. Then I went on sheep entertainment for the chords. Yours is prolly the real way to play it. Nonetheless, I think both ways sound great.

Very nice tutorial..thanks. I'm having trouble keeping the G string from ringing during the chunk... what's the best way to mute it?

lahainagrown 2 years ago

my wife has a martin made in the 30's how much would it be worth??
