Please visit my channel for the unpopular truth about homosexuality.
A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexuality and homosexuality. Even non-religious people know this.
The homosexual agenda is not good for anyone, including those who consider themselves "gay".
Homosexual activists, with support from the media, have successfuly framed themselves as noble victims; it's an effective way to push a social agenda.
These tales of NPR don't surprise me at all. NPR "liberal"? "Left" I don't think so and never did. They all strike me as extremely well-behaved children whose dearest wish is that you be a child, too. ANd right wing media are 10 times worse. I'll go with the world wide Web and foreign journalism every time.
Public Broadcasting performs a good service but since it is ideological, Tax Payers shouldn't be forced to pay for it. Public Broadcasting could be reformed to more then be able to support themselves.
The poor kapo, chumpsky, is all upset his fellow comrades are being exposed and having the every dime of tax funds pulled. Chumpsky is wondering if the de-funding of tax money will eventually effect him.
That is right. Liberalism allows no deviation. You hear that you liberal, Democratic sheep? This is someone you look up to, and he is telling you this. Also, if he can see the bias at NPR, why can't you?
@yohellojoe he thinks objectively. not like u and the dood ur arguing with. ps. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more liberal think clearly and objectivily than conservatives. chompsky is one of those liberals
@CommonAmericanIdiot LOL. You are a typical liberal: arrogance over intelligence. Why write me such a stupid comment when you can't back it up with an actual logical argument? Besides you, who cares what you have to say if you can't back it up?
Good point that conservative media is less constrained. Glenn Beck will have communists on, will review (badly) anarchist literature, etc. Beck is nuts, but at least he acknowledges that the left exists. Liberals think they can silence leftists by ignoring that we exist.

All Things Considered is the most leftwing program in mainstream America!!!! ATC is not leftwing at all -- it's simply tradional liberal programming, support the Democrats, only opposing Iraq on WMDs not on principle, criticise Wall Street a little but not too much, etc.
@TheGodlessGuitarist But there needs to be the illusion that one does exist. 1) the Right has something to whinge about, making themselves believe that they are the underdog victims, and that 'don't tread on me' nonsense.
2) It creates limits to how radical leftwing people can be. If the most progressive person you ever see on television is David Gregory, then you won't be able to look beyond that, take examples of the hard-Left, and follow their politics.
@TheGodlessGuitarist I agree although I'm more of a centrist than a leftist. The closest thing we have to a leftist news station is MSNBC which promotes union rights, financial aid for the poor, and a graduated income tax and even then that's really more just centrism than leftism.
Real leftist ideology, Socialism (as in real Socialism, not the kind the Tea Party brands Obama as), anarchism, etc., is rarely given a voice.
The Tea Party is just a proxy for big corporations like Koch Oil. Leftist policies would reign in the US's corporate oligarchy, fix the economic situation (which can be very easily done, without screwing the people), address climate issues, create policies that actually help it's citizens and so on. There is no way the oligarchy is going to let that happen, it would tread on their meglamaniacle ties.
i personally love public radio station and i listen to the local one here at where i live, but i recently met someone who has listened to NPR throughout most her adulthood and one time when i tried to have a simple discussion with her, she sounded very misinformed and even oblivious about current events. one other thing is that i questioned a lot about things she said and she was very mad. i don't understand why, i was just looking for sensible answers. was i talking toa conservative republican?

Oh dear, I sense Professor Chomsky is upset that he's not getting enough publicity. He's well known in Boston, so why doesn't NPR promote his books?
NPR's constraints involve their attempt to broadcast "objective" news. You can debate their success, but arguing that they are more constrained than conservative talk radio, which clearly foregrounds its agenda, proves little.
the local NPR fundraiser is on as I listen to this clip...having given in the past, I can't bring myself to support such a limp rag of a local news outlet. It's handy and relatively good news, BUT...
And as for the national level...Noam Chomsky (i.e. the legit, social-movement left) is out, but center-right CW-robot Cokie Roberts: EVERY mon morning
& of course the rad right is 15 years already marching through the political institutions, so THEY get strongly represented.
DUDE! Listen to the interview with one the 8 U.S. Attorneys who were fired by Bush. They just had a program about the Conservative Women's movement exposing them as fakes! NOR is not perfect, but it's the BEST FM talk radio in the USA. I have never donated, but I am going to if you do :)
Im not a bleeding liberal but I do endorse NPR. I think it is good to have their side to the story ntm, I think the music on there is MUCH better than regular radio. I like the underground music the most on there actually.

The music is good a lot of the time tho.
