@paulietrev1 Elvis was revolutionary in many ways, not just music. At the time Elvis came on the scene in the 50's racism was rampant - there was segregation where I lived in Florida. It took courage to sing rhythm and blues in the earthy way he did it - the "Klan" might string you up. MJ, although one of the greatest American performers of all time, never really had to deal with that. Elvis had already paved the way for him. As John Lennon said, "Before Elvis there was nothing..." .
