  • Joan Ferguson was an officer at real-life named Bogga Road jail in Queensland.(Largely now demolished),not Barnhurst. And the prison services in most countries have their share of corrupt officers even now. The Freak was based on real-life officers described to Prisoner producers by former inmates.

  • gordon bennet, cna you just imagine it Poe Face, Vinegar Tits and the Freak all in at once??? Those women wouldn't stand a chance lol

  • @JenCapTchalla they'd lez-up

  • This episode is 'classic' Prisoner. Thanks the upload Biscuit.

  • Vera's a trip when she's drunk

  • B. Smith and V. Bennett are great, funny and comic - the best characters in "Prisoners".

  • Vera you are drunk please let me make you a black coffee and kiss your arse goodbye.

  • poor defenseless Vera

  • I was thinking the same thing.

  • perhaps she did but i could be anybody i guess! xx

  • Exactly. I'm sure they based the Joan Ferguson character on this story line.

  • Vera is only shown smoking very rarely in the series. Something about it doesn't look quite right to me. Could Fiona Spence be faking?

  • 1:18 I can't tell if Chrissie is laughing or just trying to keep from laughing

    3:31 LOL

Jim is very fair to prisoners, provided they are goodlooking females
