Ya, 30 dollars more is quite a bit more though (130% of the price of the Boomslag). I'm just gonna get an Orochi or G500. It's hard for me to decide because I palm grip for shooters, but claw grip rts and rpg's, and I play them all just about as much.

ye it has adjustable side buttons so u could adjust them when switching grips for comfort

Well, I don't really need the side buttons for anything (i got a logitech g13 for xmas, found my presents :P).

The most important thing is it fits my hand well. I'm actually starting to just use claw grip. The Imperator is supposed to be for palm/fingertip, but looks a little too tall to be a comfortable claw mouse.

Continued:

Razer suggests the Boomslang, Orochi, and Lachesis. I already had the Lachesis and didn't like how it felt too much. It was a little long, so it would always hit my palm more than I wanted it to. The Orochi looks pretty good, and the Boomslang would be AWESOME, but I might not be able to afford it depending on how much money I get for Christmas. Plus I might go to boot camp in January, so I'd rather not have to order online because it might get to my house after I'm already gone :P

Ya pretty much. It also comes with very nice packaging, and it's optical (which is great for shooters, but it's becoming harder to find because most newer mice are laser).

lol, the salmosa is Crap, designed to be cheap for Chinese people, together with a keyboard for 30bucks. look for Razer Aurantia. The just released it in the rest of the word to get a low end mouse. U shut spend 10bucks more and get at least a Diamondback 3g

im not a racist. its a fact that the mice was made for the chines. Aurantia was released over a year befor Salmosa and the mice is the same. Razer mad Aurantia, becourse ther are a lot of gamers in china and they cant spent 100bucks for keyboard and 80bucks for mice. So they made Aurantia. Its good hardware for a low price. Razer need a new low end mice for the rest of the world, so they released it again. Compared with the other razer mices its realy crapy

Yes. There are other minor differences and updates but the basic mouse is the same.

The sensor is probably lifted from the entry level Razer mouses like Krait or something, 1800dpi max.

Takes a LOT of getting used to. Have had this for a day and still havent figured the thing out really.
