amazing job running this fireground. from the very beginning no one was sent in until you had a 360 and report from the roof and also 2 guys standing by, great acountability, great communication and great firefighting!! awesome job guys!!!!
Chief, great job with all the inside the CP videos. Shows great fireground discepline and communications. I was wondering what the abbreviation CAN refers to on the periodic reporting of roof integrity? Keep up the good work and stay safe out there.
Thanks for the nice comment. We use a Risk assessment process that we call DRA (Dynamic Risk Assessment. It is a process that starts before the fire and does not end until it's over. Part of that process relies heavily on good feedback. We simply stole the stuff that Phoenix uses. CAN (Conditions, Actions and Needs) Take care and be safe
It has taken a lot of work on the entire department to get the truck co, the IC and the fire attack to have that good triangle of information. I was really happy about this fre because we are finally starting to slow down, get that 360, and the veiw fromthe roof and communicate to each other.
