Dude, a mortally wounded Kratos can endure several blows from the Blade of Olympus, and when Zeus stabbed it into his stomach, he was still alive for minutes after, and in God of War 3, a fully charged up Blade of Olympus couldn't kill him, since his body was shown to be missing from where he died.
@tazss159 Yeah and it has been shown that the Blade of Olympus can't even deal with a horde of undead without numerous swings. The blade sides seem duller than shit and the real appropriate use is when it's powered up. Even after all that struggling it still didn't kill Zeus. So why should it end Kratos immediately after his glorified stomach wound? The after bit was supposed to be disambiguous, he could've crawled off, dragged off, picked up. It was a dumb sequel hook.

@tazss159 You're still taking the term to literally and again his lightning bolts are obviously showing in his hand giving Kratos enough time to raise his guard. Plus the Blade of Olympus (again) only imprisoned the Titans, Tartarus is literally a prison of the basement to Olympus, they couldn't deal with the Titans efficiently so they just put them in a dark place and forgot about the whole ordeal.

The Unmaker would completely stun Kratos, while it would siphon all his godly prowess out of him. He didnt kill them, he trapped them in a portion of his past. The only one he technically killed was the 3rd one. Also, if these were the ACTUAL sisters of fate in greek mythlogy, there wouldnt even be a fight. And if the sisters did have the power to do that, then why didnt they use it?

And since Kratos didn't have the Blade of Olympus when he was fighting the Sisters, there was no way he could've killed them. And also, if you remember, the Sisters of Fate told Kratos that he was only come this far because they let him. The Sisters could've easily killed him when he was on his way to the Island of Creation.

The blade sides seem duller than shit and the real appropriate use is when it's powered up. Even after all that struggling it still didn't kill Zeus. Doomguy's prowess is a hybrid of demonic/ holy powers that enable him trump even the mightiest champions of Catholicism's Hell. In his basic human form, Doomguy can jog at 57.98 mph (that's only jogging) and tote all of his equipment around. He's strength is immeasurable by modern scientific means, since he's able to rip out the guts of a Cyberdemon. There's more, stay tuned!

In conjunction with his spiritual/physical might, Doomguy boasts an arsenal of Military and Demonic Equipment. His most powerful weapons are the BFG and Unmaker. BFG is more potent than the modern Hydrogen/Nuclear weapon, as it is able to tear a planetary surface asunder. The Unmaker is pretty much a God-killing weapon, since it can only harm ethereal/supernatural beings.

Yet, if you strip each character of their weapons and leave only their bare fists, Kratos could not simply catch up to Doomguy and "rip him in half." Yes, Kratos has impressive reflexes, but Doomguy possess a more natural/innate speed. Strength-wise they are both well matched. There is more explanation to come.

Kratos could beat every single one of Doomguy's opponents, very, very easily. Everything Doomguy can do, Kratos can do far, far better. @tazss159 Save your breath. Having played the GOW games and read Greek lore, I already know about Kratos. Quit speaking in generalities: "one powerful magic attack from Kratos," specify this. Is it Poseidon's Rage? Efreet? Light of Dawn? Charon's Wrath, etc.? And don't say any one of these will do, they all have different effects. Doomguy is built to withstand magical threats, and he's taken blows equal/greater than Kratos's flurries and survived. Buff up your logos, son.

A few hits from the Blades of Exile and Doomguy will be sliced in half, in addition, Kratos could simply just walk up to Doomguy, pick him up, and rip him in half. Yes, I said it again, because it's true. Doomguy has nothing that could possibly harm Kratos. Now cry me a river.

@tazss159 No, it won't. You're severely mistaken. Before Kratos has even the time to cast Army of Sparta, Doomguy will have whipped out his Unmaker or BFG. The Unmaker would completely stun Kratos, while it would siphon all his godly prowess out of him. The BFG would completely vaporize him down to the sub-atomic level, or Doomguy could rip his guts out. These are just two out of many approaches. Doomguy has the greater SPEED, REACTION, and POWERS. Go back to wanking off to Kratos, son.

@CaptainConfederate69 Well yes, because the Sisters of Fate (like a lot of the Olympian Gods) were nearly invincible and had regenarative abilities. And since Kratos didn't have the Blade of Olympus when he was fighting the Sisters, there was no way he could've killed them. And also, if you remember, the Sisters of Fate told Kratos that he was only come this far because they let him. The Sisters could've easily killed him when he was on his way to the Island of Creation.

No where near what you see in this game is obviously going to compare directly with actual Greek Mythology. With that being said, if this were true greek mythology, Kratos wouldn't even get a scream in edge wise before Zeus would literally zap him with a bolt, there done deal everything is forgotten no biggie.

Kratos casually reacts to lightning, and he fought a dozen Zeus clones at once while reacting to lightning speeds and paying attention to other parts of the battle. Everything about GoW were extremely loose interpretation of mostly everything Greeks believed in. First off, you need to re-watch the final battle of Zeus and Kratos. You will CLEARLY see that Zeus does NOT throw it faster then lightning.
