  • Love how Toby gives up album space to help out some no-names or even his band members with their musical career.

  • I think the song makes more sense this way, there's a sense of importance in the way he delivers the message. Urgency, like I have to hear what he's saying.

It kinda reminds me of trying to sing fantabulous at Christmas Eve mass to try to draw people back to the church who only come once a year. Heheh. But it makes sense; music is supposed to move people.

  • Ok don't get me wrong I am a fan of TobyMac and I know this is his style of music and this is his what he as an artist wanted his Christmas album to sound like but to me as an older person who has experience in music. This is NOT what the song should sound like. I know Toby tweeked it because that is what artists do but if you read the sheet music and the listen to how it was orginally composed NO this is Not a good version of this song. But again Toby is an artist and free to express himself.

  • I don't know why but to me this didn't sound like Toby Mac. Sounds like someone else

  • @JesusIsMyAllInAll It is someone else. It is Arch Nemesiz. It says in the description. Tobymac had multiple singers on his cd. ^^

  • i love mercy me's version too. it's awesome with even more harmony

  • Amazing rendition!

  • This is how Christmas music should sound, strong voice, not boring, and intensely beautiful =]
