Oh, I think we are. Maybe you should open up your eyes and have a proper look at what the EU is turning into. U.S. is not as Socialistic and influenced by Cultural Marxism and Political Correctness as is the EU, the EUSSR. And functionally, ideologically and structurally, there are far too many similarities between the EUSSR and the Soviet Union for them to simply be brushed off as coincidences. This corrupt and centralized system didn't happen by accident, it was by design. EUSSR is a reality.

Well, maybe you should read some of Vladimir Bukovsky's material about the striking and alarming similarities between the so-called European Union [of Soviet Socialist Republics] and the Soviet Union, and also have a look at the actual contents of this new EUSSR Treaty, or Lisbon Treaty as others call it. It does, in fact, create the EUSSR, the Union, as a separate legal entity, a Supranational State, once it's been ratified. Member states are thereafter irrelevant - it's all about the Union.

There may or may not be some things that are lost by remaining in the EU, but by leaving we condemn ourselves to drowning in a multipolar world that ignores us. The only way Britain can maintain any kind of exxagerated influence in the world is by becoming a key player in the EU.
A combined military would be one of the strongest in the world. We don't need to use it threateningly, however, power in this area is the only thing half the world's nations ever take notice of...

i wouldn't go that far... i appreciate the efforts of the american soldiers in ww2, they were a great help. and yes, WW2 was the USA's steppingstone to becoming a superpower and gained enormous economical advantages due tio that war and its aftermath, but most of its soldiers fought with their hearts in the right place.

What's wrong with you guy? Can't you read? Malaysa has a total GDP 150.923 with a population of 27.122.000 and Austria has a total GDP of 321.934 with a population of 8.316.487. The GDP per capita (including buying power) of Britain is 30.431 (even behind Germany) and that of Austria is 33.432.
