thanks so much! almost thought to take her to the vet hospital, i thought she hurt herself when we saw the treading. we're due to have her spayed but are waiting for her to be done nursing. some jack@$s neighbor chucked the poor unspayed love out and we rescued her and her subsequent kits.

Thank you --This clarifies my cat's current situation!! Rolling around and moaning and singing the past 2 days!! ;-) She is almost a twin to yours. Adorable and so loving...and looks like we shall need to get her spayed pronto...She was a tiny kitten not very long ago, but is calling for boyfriends now! It is the call of the wild!! She is gonna go to the vet tomorrow. I can't see her suffer with these intense emotional longings...even though it is 'cute' from an onlooker standpoint. :)

I'm sure that he knows it's painful. -_- seriously, think before you post because unfortunatly for us, we don't have a perfect economy so finances may not allow it. Give her a drop of soda, and by a drop I mean a real drop (Litterally) from a medicen thingy, and it relieves her pain for about an hour. It's like the equivalance of Advil or other pain meds

@FadedRose99 If you can't afford it, you can get your cats spayed and neutered for free in thousands of clinics across the country. Tax dollars and private donations fund it. You might have to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment, but they're not difficult to get, even if you can't spend a dime.

Thanks for posting this. I took in a stray female cat in December, and she just started doing this, as well as howling all the time. I thought something was wrong with her until I realized that this was the first cat I had that wasn't fixed. Sure enough, she is in heat. I can't wait for this to end, so I can get her spayed. Poor little kitty!!!
