great video i have a few questions hope you can help me.i live in the north east.back in mid may i dug up some daffodil bulbs and tulips.placed them loose in pots to store on the porch.also i have a few hyacinth bulbs from spring plants i bought back in may.i plan i moving these bulbs to another garden will they be safe to plant next month or can i do it now? are the bulbs still any good since they are no longer in the ground?
@SnowWhiteDove7 Generally speaking, bulb planting takes place in the fall. Tulip and daffodil bulbs should be fine to replant but be sure they are firm when you squeeze gently. This ensures that the bulb is still in good condition! Tulips require cooler weather in order to bloom each spring so plant tulips when it is 60 degrees or colder.
@Lowes thank you i will wait till next month when its around 60 degrees.are the hyacinth,daffodil and tulip bulbs going to be ok since i dug them out a few months back? they are just loose im storing them in pots outside on the porch and they are dry.should i place them in the fridge or just leave them until i plant?
