ANYONE can sing anything they like, ESPECIALLY if you're a Beatles fan (which I am)..& I absolutely LOVE this song & I love to sing it in the shower & around the house. Yes, I KNOW that I will never sing it better than John (NO ONE COULD, IMO) but that doesn't mean I can't APPRECIATE their music & show it by singing their tunes. It's pretty ridiculous to suggest that only The Beatles are allowed to sing their songs. Their music is for everyone to enjoy.

Yes, I love this one. They were such geniuses; note that this music has a languid, "dreamy" quality to it - quite appropriate for a song called "I'm Only Sleeping" (but of course, no accident!). Great stuff.

The rehearsal tape almost didnt survive all of these years. After the rehearsals for the song were recorded, the beatles recorded the proper takes over the rehearsal tapes. All of the rehearsals from that day were almost wiped, however the proper takes stoped right before the last 40 seconds of the last rehearsal. If The Beatles recorded one more take that day, this beautiful rehearsal would be lost forever.
