i really am looking for films about marathi culture (not the urban love based storyline movies like most bollywood and tamil cinema) but the true (rural) culture reflecting its rich culture in arts,music, dance, occupation, literature etc etc. Any suggestions? i really want to discover more of cultural India. especially Maharashtra!

i have dont understand the language (as i am from tamil nadu) yet i loved this song. i was searching about marathi culture and dance and i came accross this and apsara aali both magnificent pieces of lavni!!!. it has actually made me fall in love with the culture and even want to learn the language and watch more films about marathi culture.

A friend recommended this video. I'm glad he did. I don't understand what she is saying. But her body language tells me that she is not going home but rather spend all night making love. She is incredibly hot ! And a great singer/dancer too.

Fast disco beat, superbly composed and choreographed ! I'm a Westerner yet immensely enjoyed, watched four times, can't get that beat out my head. Great music has no boundaries.
