When Guns made the videos incl, November rain, Estranged, Don' Cry, they wanted to make a short film that would peice all the videos together and sum it all up. there were to be more installments the band never could keep it together. No one other than the band will ever know what and why it happened. check out the other vids then try to figure out what happens, in estranged he was playing with a kid and was insitutionalized? many theories exist.

Maybe I'm just stupid... but I always thought November Rain was about divorce, not death.
The death in the video is a metaphore for the death of the marriage. His wife, although still techincally alive, is dead to him.
It sounds like, to me, that their marriage is on the rocks. Axel keeps trying to tell her that they can get through it but she leaves him anyway.
The rain at the reception represents how the good times went bad. Same for the broken cake, and the spilling of the wine.

When we(me and my friends) read the short story it really did'nt clear things up. well that is the story as it was being told here in Dallad texas. it is just one of thousands of theories. like the kennedy assination you never will know but it was good conversation for Rock and roll GNR fans. some of the other theries were that it was related to other videos from the same CD. that is all. stay cool. love ya Z

PART 5 I will try to wrap this up. so axl is suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome. this is why he is waking up in a cold sweat and breathing hard. he realized he could'nt sleep so late at night he went to the grave and said his last goodbyes. the roses draining their color means that she blead to death. the part about the mirror in the coffin is as varried as every where else. the rainbow bar seen was just a memory and the concert seen was a memory too. part 6 maybe.
