  • sounds almost like my 335i! Nice

  • Wo everyone keeps asking what exhaust what type of exhaust parts he has..Guys n Gals he has a stock OEM BMW Exhaust System but has Deleted (REMOVED) the muffler and resonator. No performance parts here besides the AFE intake.

Im doing this to my e90 this week. Ive been riding around with a muffler delete for a while..I enjoy the sound but to me, it needs to be more vocal. This is exactly what i was looking for..maybe later on down the road install a eisenmann muffler and keep the reso delete.

  • nice!!

  • Sounds nice

  • I'm looking to do this to my E90.. Did you do the work yourself? If so, what all did it entail?

  • what is the brand of the exhaust ? i would love to fit them in to mine car as well

  • is that crackiling from the exhaust or just a bad microphone..cause it sounds sick

  • how does it sound going down the highway? much engine drone or is it still kinda quiet?

  • did you remove both resonators?

  • Was there any performance drawbacks or weirdness from removing the res. i got a rpi pipe coming and was thinking of doing it to give it a lil more sound

  • ORGASMIC!

  • DUDE i have a E90 and i want my car to sound like that... what brand, model parts did u use for the custom exhaust!!! IT SOUNDS AWESOMEEE!!!!!

  • AT or MT?

  • did i hear a turbo?! im so confused =/

  • Wow, I walked into a really bitchfest in the comment section.

  • poor bmw, handlet by an idiot..

  • shiiiittt i fucking looove the crackle after a high rev. i need to do this. NOW.

  • OMG that sounds sexy!

  • do you have any drone because the resonator is off?

  • can somebody explain me what do I have to do at my 325i e90 to get this sound?

  • Muffler and resonator delete.... Cut off the resonator and muffler, weld up pipe and tips. The end.

  • Sexy... I'm doing this to my e90 as soon as I get it back from BMW.

  • So is this stock? Just the stock exhaust with muffler and resonator taken off?

  • what does Muffler Deletion, Resonator Deletion mean?

  • you completely take out the muffler and in place put a straight pipe

  • You cut off the muffler and resonator and run straight pipe.

I deleted my muffler as well. I'm still trying to decide if I want to get rid of the resonator or not.

  • @remembermorrison not loud enough?

  • that sounds badass

  • sound like a Ferrari F430 exhaust. Nice sound. But you should feel losing some low end torque.

  • Is this true?

  • so i guess you never heared a car without resonator and muffler before?

  • @royclung Not if the piping is kept thin to maintain the same exhaust velocity.

  • what exhaust tips should i get to make my monte carlo sound like it has open headers with no cat, resonator or muffler?

  • how much does it cost at the muffler shop to remove the muffler and resonator??

  • Post MORE!!!! so far this one sounds the best, im consider it!! so how much did u approx spend from stock to THIS monster...

  • Comment removed

  • love the high pitch noise bmw engines make (such as at 0:30 )

  • you shouldnt get CEL's with a muffler or resonator delete ... all it does is make your car louder (and drone more on the highway) ... i think he just has a pipe going back to the tips (hence no muffler or resonator, they have been taken off, and in their place a pipe has been welded) ... correct me if im wrong but im sure thats what he did

  • Thats exactly right, saw them do it on mine. They just cutt off what you dont want and add piping to it.

  • Do you get check engine lights or something because of the fact that your removed the resonator?

  • sounds tight, almost has an e46 m3 like rasp too it. good shit !

  • well this is actually done after driving around doing some errands, so the engine was pretty much warmed up =)

    Thanks for the comment buddy=)

  • lol dude what is wrong with you? hahaha

  • He's just jealous that your car sounds so bad ass!

  • @JJHAN2 he is jealous because we all want your car and we will cry if you break it, we are just saying this because we care :)

  • @bmw325ie90

As long as you only do it in neutral it doesnt really matter, just dont rev it high under pressure.. moron

  • @chrippaaa Lol you tool. Go and rev your car in neutral upon a cold start. Fool

  • @bmw325ie90 If you haven't noticed, these cars make a lot of exhaust, as mine does, I have come to realize.

  • @bmw325ie90

well done for assuming he revved a cold engine. get off youtube and go read a book/do something productive.

  • @FongTinez Honors Degree Graduate here with an internship. What have you done in the last year since that comment was posted...??

    Jus' sayin

    kthxbai

  • @bmw325ie90

lol an "honors degree" from where? A shitty community college? Yeah sorry but real college grads dont say "kthxbai". And as for me, I'll be graduating from UCLA in the honors program. "kthxbai"

Back on subject though, you are the moron for saying he revved a cold engine when he actually didnt. "kthxbai"

  • @FongTinez Not a shitty community college, look up University of Bristol BSc Accounting and Finance, since you seem so interested in what I have to say. Also an intern at National Audit Office and own a BMW 325i which is why I commented on this page in the first place (see my page, again because you're so interested in what I have to say). It's cool to see you call me a moron because it shows how much the internet effects your daily life. U MAD? Just seen you own a Civic too lol.

  • @bmw325ie90

lols, yes I own a civic for highway commuting, I also own a 328i, so that argument aint gonna work.

Never called you a moron, you're the one who called the video-maker a moron. Nice memory you have there.

Sorry, never heard of "university of bristol" being anything famous. "kthxbai"

  • @FongTinez "you are the *moron* for saying he revved a cold engine when he actually didnt" Why are you so quick to defend him anyway, is he your boyfriend or something, how do you even know he did in fact warm the engine up before revving it? He may be lying? I for one believe in revving my engine hard on the motorway after 30 or so miles after a motorway run or prolonged period of driving. You obviously have a problem with me and wish to waste time. Therefore I retire from this argument

  • @bmw325ie90 I'm just defending an innocent man who didnt need to be name-called ;)

  • boii that sounds sexy!! is it just no resonator, or what tip/kit do u have on it?

  • wud u mind telling me how u got it to sound like that. i understand that u took the resonators off and u removed the muffler.. but how.. cud u explain

  • Any idea on the gains from the intake?

    jw :D

  • i have the same car, thats nice. im about to get rid of my muffler and install the afe intake i just got.

  • resonator delete means no resonator right? lol im new at this stuff..

  • yes, lol

  • nice kicks

  • very nice, same here
