You need a few things to win next year. You need to find a better arranger for whatever song you choose. Aaron Mahi is the BEST out there, so you need someone good because 2010 will get him to arrange again. You also need to highlight your sopranos instead of the altos. Your sopranos are 10x better and they can slam those high notes. There were a few flaws with 2010. They weren't always in pitch, they were not always together, and their Hawaiian was lacking. You guys fix it and u win!

for one thing, any arranger that is chosen apparently has earned their right to arrange for song contest. Les Ceballos is not going to choose an arranger that doesn't know what he/she is doing. And in terms of Aaron Mahi being the best arranger out there....every arranger has their own strengths and weaknesses, and nobody is better than someone else for Hawaiian choral style arranging.

And if you haven't noticed....the soprano's were highlighted for 4/5 verses...don't you think it would have only made sense to highlight the alto's for 1 verse??!! Hello! No class is going to be perfect...every class has something that they need to work on, and it really is the spur of the moment, some classes will nail it right on that night, and some will not. The class of 2010 is a hard working class and has desevered EVERY AWARD THEY HAVE WON!

@kenlayme thank you for the advice and for complimenting us. but i don't think it's pono for you to denounce someone's hard work. it takes a lot to arrange a song! our girls sounded wonderful and so did 2010!
