i noticed the "games" you were playing with her.... I do one with my boxer that I highly recommend.... have her sit in another room and have her stay (make sure she cant see you, works better if you have a hall way) hide behind a door of different rooms, cal her name, and have her come find you. My boxer LOVES this!

Shes 12!! thats really good as boxers usually develop heart problems at 9! Mine died whe she was 14, she was an amazing wee dog

i train my boxer the same way (hes half rot/half boxer) and i tell him to stay and hes very obedient until i give him the call to release. at only 3 months he does that. he has the same white chest as your girl and the same demeanor. i want him to be a little bigger though, and ChuckAlien is right, they have the same personality

No its not really hard to train them. U just have to make sure u give them a treat when they shake or roll over. And keep teaching them everyday. My boyfriend has taught our boxer to sit, shake, roll over, bark for a treat and say "Momma".

@daveandjoe100 I taught my 12 year old boxer to drop, roll over and he even plays dead (freezes on his back with legs up) all in about a week. they're easy if you have patience.. and food! haha

My Dog can do that! I can leave a plate full of food on the Coffee Table--leave the Den..and he'll just sit and watch the food until I come back. Steak Dinner, Chinese, don't matter. He'll leave it...until I Iet him have it!

I'm not saying your doing anything wrong with training your dog but you shouldn't train them with treats, toys are the best to train them with because my Dad trained out old dog so good and he trained him with toys and it is a true fact.

Training just takes a little time. Small dog treats are a must. To shake, put your hand out and say "shake," then take the dog's paw and make him give a shake. Give treat. Eventually you won't have to grab the dog's paw to make him/her shake.

I wish I had a good answer for you. For some reason we just happened to get a great, easy-going dog. The only tips I ever got were from the dog whisperer - exercise/discipline/etc.
