It seems like this whole story is very similar to the Passover Plot. The Passover Plot suggests that jesus planned to fake his death on the cross and appear again as the promised messiah. The book was written in 1965 right before the beatles old image as teeny boppers was to die, only to be reborn as new poets with sgt pepper album.
