@iiaea thats not always true. "cheating" or whatever you would want to call it is a great way make gains and break plateaus, ask any powerlifter or bodybuilder how they incorporate cheats into workouts.

It is about injury. I recently had to take a year off from lifting because I tore something in my shoulder from just a little bit of bad form / swing on one of my lifts. I had NO IDEA what I was doing could lead to a tear.

That was one of the worst perfomances of bent over rows ive ever seen. Its not Called BENT OVER for nothing, you gotta bend over and get your torso parrallel to the floor! @MrDamienbell it's pretty sad how clueless u are about gettin big and lifting heavy weight. I see your video and u are fat fucking mess. @Moy7759 Then your as blind as stevie wonder you dumb ass, go study some biomechanics, or get some real experience in the gym or grow a brain or something.
A little cheating, like that jerk and extended knees, is ok if you want to target the muscles at the end of the range of motion. It is hardest at the beginning range of motion to lift a weight, so if you have some help at the beginning you can overload your muscles more so at the middle and end range of motion which is actually putting more stress on the muscles. :)
that's great form for what he's lifting, pussies. besides, doing more weight than you can do with slightly improper form is how you max out your muscles and give them a reason to go,
I think his form is really good! anyone ever seen dorian yates Blood and guts video?
Dorian has one of the best backs in the history of bodybuilding, and be barely leaned forward while doing bent rows! As long as you lead with your elbows, and feel the movement in the targeted area, thats all that matters!
Bending Parallel to the ground is really hard on the lower back. You just need to bend over slightly and pull to the mid section. It still works the lats.
first off, nobody but nobody bends parallel to the ground when doing bent over rows. you watch any pro bodybuilder, ronnie coleman, jay cutler and anyone else, they all do them bent over only slightly. if you use a good amount of weight and you try bending all the way over, you will kill your back and its not going to make the exercise more effective.
@bigconan except Arnie back in the day. :P He would stand on a bench press bench so that he could extend all the way down in this position. But yeah, nobody today does em like that, you're right.
Form, form, form bullshit! Go ahead and bend all the way over with this much weight and slip a disc in your back. The lift looks good to me. It's similar to how I do mine now and about as heavy. I was a guy who went strict form on everything and was bend all way over doing rows and slipped a disk in my back with just 225 warming up 10 years ago. Your form needs to adjust to the weight sometimes.
So what if these arent strict, have you seen Ronnie do them? he uses momentum also with 5 plates, I personally prefer doing them strict like Dorian but if you get results like this good on you.
omg that is the most perfect form ull get from that kinda weight!!! 405 is amazing to just rack it, to just hold in that position and move it is amazing!!! great work mate!
powabuilda i totally agree with you, but if you want the best looking body you dont want to try this overload.. manage just what you can with perfect form and deepest range of motion in all exercises, thats what gets you looking the best. The barbell is not a very versatile piece of apparatus but its easier to add weight to the bar, he shoulder blades werent connecting for half them reps, so whats he exercising the most, his tri and bi's? nuff said.
nice shrugs. Don't call it a bent over row if you're not bent over. Go watch vids or Arnold, Haney, Yates, etc. They all bent over. This standing up version is relatively new and really just stupid.
@Acid113377 and what is this vid called? bent over rows. Yates also did his bent over rows along with his more upright rows. These are not bent over rows. Sorry to make you look stupid, but I'm guessing it happens a lot to you.
@Acid113377 doesn't matter if you think he's hardcore or not, don't call an exercise a bent over row if it's not what you're doing. And watch Arnold and Haney videos, they do their bent over rows, yep you guessed it, bent over. And the form is actually harder that way, this way is the easier way, less range of motion. You must get schooled a lot since you couldn't put these common sense points together yourself. Too bad you won't listen and learn. Stay dumb, kid.
@balinmar actually you're the idiot, because my point was that this isn't a bent over row, nothing to do with you're petty growth and poor form, loser
Hell yeah, you're right ! with his f*cking strong shoulder he row 405! he would use 1000pound with his lats! wow you're right! can u even do a deadlift with 405 pounds?
Hey LOOK AT ME, I'm the typical youtuber that sits behind the keyboard ALL day and shout "BAD FORM" anytime something is not 100% like how I learnt it from the internets! Although I'm a wuss who can't even do 6 chin ups, I whine about other people's "bad form" because behind the keyboard, I AM KING!
@firdaus125 maybe the person is whining about bad form, but to be honest, it is some pretty terrible form. Most experts would say, down the weights until you can do at least 5 in good form, then up them as you are able to.
@TheJordandelphonic maybe the form is not perfect, but for the weight he's doing, he has to sacrifice a little on form. personally i would lower the weights and improve the form, but i don't have 20 over inch arms and do bent over rows with 8 plates
@firdaus125 yeah, his form is off but it could be a lot worse at the same time. I'm not a huge guy so most people wouldn't take my criticism seriously anyways, but I am an anatomist and when I go to the gym I really cringe when I see people doing exercises wrong. Sure they will be fine the next day, but 10 years down the road they will be unable to tie their own shoelaces if they don't correct their form. :)
@firdaus125 In essence i can function with the same weight your using but my body weight is about 210 lbs. I competed in strongman and Olympic Lifting. But, After several years of doing the heavy weights, i realized, it's kind of useless. Unless you are going to be rowing a boat with like 100 people... whats the points. From a technical stand point, this is not a bent over row by the way. It's more of a shrug. So, i am hoping you got the title wrong for the clip? Because its a weird shrug!
@c8h3p the main purpose is to work the lats, if you feel them in your traps, then yes, you are doing them wrong, but, if you feel the lats doing the work, and thats where you feel the tension, your doing it correctly. remember, the traps are part of your back, so, it doesnt take that much to bend over to hit your lats. just a slight bend is all you need.
wtf everyone talking about is form? his back is straight and he dont use a lot of momentum if any.... When you become big and stronger, you can do an exercice the way you're feeling it, not the textbooks shit, stop talking about is form! When you'll have more experience, you'll know that he is doing right
@philou72364 I completely agree, some you, including people that are supposed to be trainers, I just don't get it, his form wasn't the BEST, but it was certainly good. and go ahead and search ronnnie or jay and their form isn't any different.
@powabuilda haha what? using bad form isn't going to overload the muscles GOOD FORM WILL. the back muscles work when you pull your elbow back...he barely pulls his elbow back at all and when he does pull it back it is because he pushed off with his legs and not because he pulled with his arms. that exercise probably worked his back less than 10 reps of 80 (165lb) kg with good form
@dsquaredmlg I respectfully disagree. Look at his other vids he is obviously very strong. Try doing that weight not matter what the form and it aint easy by any means.. You have to give your mucles a reason to grow and get stronger and thats by heavy weight! And him using 165 pounds would be a joke Im sure he can row tha single handedly and probably curl it with 2 hands.
@powabuilda it's not a matter of disagreement...it's a matter of biomechanics. he is barely using his lats in this video - fact. it is mainly legs. i suppose it is overload for his legs...definitely not his back. just because you pick up a weight which is too heavy for you doesn't make it "overload". if you put on too many weights on the bench press and you can just lift it off the bar but can't bring it down anywhere near your chest is that overload?
@dsquaredmlg In that matter I would see it as overload as it is adapting yourbodyto the heavier weigts so you will eventually be ableto lift them. That is a method have applied in my training. Plus I don't even think his form is that bad. If you look at alot o top pro bodybuilders even or example, you won' really see many of them using picture perfect form with light weights becaus it just doesn't do the job to the maximum level.
@powabuilda bodybuilders always use good form because they want to isolate the right muscle groups. powerlifters don't always use good form because they are happy to lift the weight in any way possible....
@dsquaredmlg Well yes powerlifting is all about the weight not what you look like unlike bodybuilders. But lookat bodybuilders like Branch Warren for example, his form isn't always the prettiest but its won him the Arnold Classic and gotten him secon at the olympia. That goes to show there is more then one style to train in..
@dsquaredmlg LOL you're joking cunt... powerlifting is ALL about form and reinforcing technique, if you don't know this you know nothing, a vast majority of bodybuilders train like shit and thus look like shit...
@MAVsince1991 yeh my bad I meant "strongmen"....however powerlifters usually arch their back in the bench, bounce the weight off their chest and squat to barely parallel
@dsquaredmlg you still don't know what you're talking about.. powerlifters (when i say plifters i'm explicitly talking about competitive and pros that are bound by federation rules) SHOULD arch their backs for safe mechanics, bouncing the weight of their chest is a no lift, it must touch/pause before its pressed, and regulations in powerlifting state that the hips must come to parallel with the knees for recognition of the lift - there's no point going below parallel, it's where you're weak
@MAVsince1991 hahaha "safe mechanics"... mate, can you please spare me the shit you are making up based on nothing because I am getting way too much of that from weightlifters who think they know stuff about biomechanics and muscle function. and yes, arching your back does give you an advantage...if you've ever benched anything you would know that...why would the powerlifters do it otherwise? lol and hips are below the back...you can keep hips and knees parallel and still arch your back
@dsquaredmlg heavy benching on the thoracic region (no arch) is a great way to impinge nerves and compress discs, hence, for 'safe mechanics' as you put it, powerlifters naturally arch their back so the weight transfer is put onto the upper back and cervical region.. this is in ADDITION to gaining a mechanical advantage.. your original comment was 'bbers use good form and pwlifters are happy to lift the weight any way possible' i'm beginning to think you're too stupid to argue with.
@dsquaredmlg and in reference to my comment about the hips must come to parallel with the knees for recognition of the lift - i was referring to the squat, i can't believe how retarded you are to think i was talking about a bench press, god you're stupid...
@MAVsince1991 the point is: you don't know what you are talking about, please stop pretending you do. so many "experts" with a 3rd grade education telling people how to lift on lifting videos on youtube
@dsquaredmlg wow are you serious man? did you just tell a guy who works with fucking 180KG to go down to 80kg u must be one of thouse GYM clowns who work their bicpes with perfect form and bench 50KG using slow and controlled form with ur huge 11' arms lol get reall if you claimed he should use the 165KG i'd take u seriously
@muzimuzi no way this dude could row 165. he can barely move this weight and it is only 15kg heavier...alright maybe he should be rowing 100 with form...this video is embarrassing. whatever hes doin here would not barely be working his upperback...mainly just fucking up his lower back. if im a "clown" who uses good form, you must be one of the clowns who puts 50kg too much on the bar cause you think you're impressing people while everyone in the gym laughs at your ridiculous form (like this guy)
@dsquaredmlg again youre way over your head and u have no idea, my 5Rm with rows is about 120KG and i can rep 100KG eaisly, so this guy should easily rep 140 for 12 with great form if he wanted to, apperntly doing bicep curls with 10KG dBs and barbell rows with an empty bar gives you better progression tho according to you, besides i use realtivly good form in my lifts, and some people train for strength not pussy six-pack abs like my gym bicep warriors hope to acheive one day (like you)
@muzimuzi haha cool story bro...tell that awesome story to someone who gives a fuck. i'm not impressed at all by how much you lift so there is no need to brag to me about it...it's not the 4th grade anymore. mate, i do not care at all if you fuck up your back so please direct your next comment at someone who cares
@dsquaredmlg i wasnt trying to brag online like you dick head are doing, i was trying to explain how unbelivably stupid you are by misscalculating man's lift, only unexperianced noobs who barely hit the gym twoice a week to mark on the notebook that today they worked out biceps and chest, are the same idiots who dont understand numbers in lifting, besides why on earth do u even watch lifting videos if you dont "lift" yourself? i think your gnome is calling you back from world of warcraft
@muzimuzi who said I don't lift? just because you go to the gym doesn't make you an expert on anything...you're a good example - clearly you don't understand the first thing about lifting and yet you seem to fancy yourself as a pretty awesome lifter
@dsquaredmlg well where are your videos then that you allow urself to talk such trash on other people when you have no idea of anything better urself, how do i not understand the "first thing about lifting" its not like there is a part in your brain that tells u NOT to grow stronger and bigger if u use " bad form " im not saying this guy's form is supreme but he probably knows his way around if he made it to 4 plates BB rows, wont u agree?
@muzimuzi lol it's not about your muscles not growing...it's about you fucking up your back. as well as this, he is barely using his lats in this video at all, it's mainly his legs and lower back...maybe some traps
@dsquaredmlg Again im sure he would not get this big if he did it all wrong, as for the injury dum-ass methods, its all bull crap if u are strong enough to hold the weight u shouldnt have any injuires, like sometimes people see me doing cheat curls in the gym and they are all like OOH WATCH YOUR BACK, bullox unless you cant deadlift 300 pound, using your back isnt likely to get you injured, in the end of the day guys who work with small weight remain small... and get injured more surprisngly
@muzimuzi no way this dude could row 165. he can barely move this weight and it is only 15kg heavier...alright maybe he should be rowing 100 with form...this video is embarrassing. whatever hes doin here would not barely be working his upperback...mainly just fucking up his lower back. if im a "clown" who uses good form, you must be one of the clowns who puts 50kg too much on the bar cause you think you're impressing people while everyone in the gym laughs at your ridiculous form (like this guy)
his form might not be perfect but who cares if you just act like form police you'll never grow. Would you rather bench 205 with perfect form for reps or do 245 and cheat a little the over all load is alot more and helps for better growth, as long as your not doing those girly half reps
hes form is ok but he is riding his knees. Personally id drop the 20-40 and do perfect form but thats just me, different people react to different things.
Bent over rows ! king of back exercises along with chins, people avoid it like the plague , why ? cos its hard, breathing is difficult stabiliser muscles come into play, the whole back is forced to work as a unit, and it works , want to grow ? you got to row !
Well..erm actually the king of back exercises is the Deadlift, then bent over barbell rows, then chin ups, then Dumbell and babrell shrugs. Like the rhyme at the end though
Yes the Deadlift is a an awsome back exercise, I only left it out cos the other 2 are specific back exercises where the deadlift does many muscle groups, sorry cant find a rhyme to end this one !!
Not the best form I've ever seen, but the fact is that I cannot lift that much in the manner in which he was doing it, nor do I believe that any of the individuals who are dissing this guy could do the same thing. That said, congratulations on being freakishly strong.
why is it that on youtube nobody has anything GOOD to say shut the hell up you little crying bitches I swear all i hear is "thats not good form" BOO WHOO
wrong wrong wrong Supporting the weight makes it a free weight movement( incorporating synergists and stabilizing muscle aswel as eccentric contraction) actually you fucking moron, a compound movement is any exercise involving a group of muscles, just becasue its on a machine doesn't mean its isolation. I.e. Bench press - anterior delt, pecs and tris machine press - exactly the same. If anyone is the idiot round here its you.
I think he needs to bend over more, his way the ROM is too small and he's not using other muscles in the back. But I'm all for going hard and heavy, not silly strict form with dolly weights.
Really, because I thought it was the fact that it's multi-joint that makes it a compound lift. You don't know shit. Why don't you take a look at how Ronnie Coleman, Cutler or any other pro-BB'er does rows? That's right, they do them at 70 degrees and they ain't afraid to break form b/c that is how you get big.
If you are so gay for strict form, why don't you go use a machine? Because that's all that's happening when you use strict form. You are trying to turn a compound lift into an isolation lift and using an unnatural range of motion like with an exercise machine.
Some exercises the ROM isn't as important as you'd think. Cheating is a excellent way to get past a sticking point. My form is not any better than his and my back is exploding.
I've got jelly in my fridge that holds better form

A little cheating, like that jerk and extended knees, is ok if you want to target the muscles at the end of the range of motion. It is hardest at the beginning range of motion to lift a weight, so if you have some help at the beginning you can overload your muscles more so at the middle and end range of motion which is actually putting more stress on the muscles. :)

that's great form for what he's lifting, pussies. besides, doing more weight than you can do with slightly improper form is how you max out your muscles and give them a reason to go,
EnjoiSkater7594 1 year ago
I think his form is really good! anyone ever seen dorian yates Blood and guts video?
Dorian has one of the best backs in the history of bodybuilding, and be barely leaned forward while doing bent rows! As long as you lead with your elbows, and feel the movement in the targeted area, thats all that matters!
chickenhookswitch 1 year ago
Bending Parallel to the ground is really hard on the lower back. You just need to bend over slightly and pull to the mid section. It still works the lats.
shinshoryuken 1 year ago
first off, nobody but nobody bends parallel to the ground when doing bent over rows. you watch any pro bodybuilder, ronnie coleman, jay cutler and anyone else, they all do them bent over only slightly. if you use a good amount of weight and you try bending all the way over, you will kill your back and its not going to make the exercise more effective.
bigconan 1 year ago
@bigconan except Arnie back in the day. :P He would stand on a bench press bench so that he could extend all the way down in this position. But yeah, nobody today does em like that, you're right.
bonzihunter 1 year ago
Form, form, form bullshit! Go ahead and bend all the way over with this much weight and slip a disc in your back. The lift looks good to me. It's similar to how I do mine now and about as heavy. I was a guy who went strict form on everything and was bend all way over doing rows and slipped a disk in my back with just 225 warming up 10 years ago. Your form needs to adjust to the weight sometimes.

spartan1893 1 year ago
powabuilda i totally agree with you, but if you want the best looking body you dont want to try this overload.. manage just what you can with perfect form and deepest range of motion in all exercises, thats what gets you looking the best. The barbell is not a very versatile piece of apparatus but its easier to add weight to the bar, he shoulder blades werent connecting for half them reps, so whats he exercising the most, his tri and bi's? nuff said.
richards1986 1 year ago
nice shrugs. Don't call it a bent over row if you're not bent over. Go watch vids or Arnold, Haney, Yates, etc. They all bent over. This standing up version is relatively new and really just stupid.
7thSense 1 year ago
@7thSense ever heard of a yates row?...
no idea what your talkin bout ey?
Acid113377 1 year ago
@Acid113377 and what is this vid called? bent over rows. Yates also did his bent over rows along with his more upright rows. These are not bent over rows. Sorry to make you look stupid, but I'm guessing it happens a lot to you.

@7thSense
you made yourself look stupid, not me... by flaming a guy workin out the hardcore way instead of the personal trainer pussy strict form faggot way...

Acid113377 1 year ago
@Acid113377 doesn't matter if you think he's hardcore or not, don't call an exercise a bent over row if it's not what you're doing. And watch Arnold and Haney videos, they do their bent over rows, yep you guessed it, bent over. And the form is actually harder that way, this way is the easier way, less range of motion. You must get schooled a lot since you couldn't put these common sense points together yourself. Too bad you won't listen and learn. Stay dumb, kid.

JDilla2812 2 years ago
@firdaus125 maybe the person is whining about bad form, but to be honest, it is some pretty terrible form. Most experts would say, down the weights until you can do at least 5 in good form, then up them as you are able to.
TheJordandelphonic 1 year ago
@TheJordandelphonic maybe the form is not perfect, but for the weight he's doing, he has to sacrifice a little on form. personally i would lower the weights and improve the form, but i don't have 20 over inch arms and do bent over rows with 8 plates
firdaus125 1 year ago
@firdaus125 yeah, his form is off but it could be a lot worse at the same time. I'm not a huge guy so most people wouldn't take my criticism seriously anyways, but I am an anatomist and when I go to the gym I really cringe when I see people doing exercises wrong. Sure they will be fine the next day, but 10 years down the road they will be unable to tie their own shoelaces if they don't correct their form. :)
TheJordandelphonic 1 year ago
@firdaus125 In essence i can function with the same weight your using but my body weight is about 210 lbs. I competed in strongman and Olympic Lifting. But, After several years of doing the heavy weights, i realized, it's kind of useless. Unless you are going to be rowing a boat with like 100 people... whats the points. From a technical stand point, this is not a bent over row by the way. It's more of a shrug. So, i am hoping you got the title wrong for the clip? Because its a weird shrug!
c8h3p 1 year ago
@c8h3p what the fuck? i'm not even in this video, i'm just a guy watching it
firdaus125 1 year ago
@c8h3p the main purpose is to work the lats, if you feel them in your traps, then yes, you are doing them wrong, but, if you feel the lats doing the work, and thats where you feel the tension, your doing it correctly. remember, the traps are part of your back, so, it doesnt take that much to bend over to hit your lats. just a slight bend is all you need.

Geeze guys quit hating. Who cares if his form was a bit loose! He is trying to overload the muscles and using perfect form aint goona do that.
powabuilda 2 years ago 31
@powabuilda
This. Loose-form = gains
Bones98 1 year ago
@powabuilda haha what? using bad form isn't going to overload the muscles GOOD FORM WILL. the back muscles work when you pull your elbow back...he barely pulls his elbow back at all and when he does pull it back it is because he pushed off with his legs and not because he pulled with his arms. that exercise probably worked his back less than 10 reps of 80 (165lb) kg with good form
dsquaredmlg 4 months ago
@dsquaredmlg I respectfully disagree. Look at his other vids he is obviously very strong. Try doing that weight not matter what the form and it aint easy by any means.. You have to give your mucles a reason to grow and get stronger and thats by heavy weight! And him using 165 pounds would be a joke Im sure he can row tha single handedly and probably curl it with 2 hands.
powabuilda 4 months ago
@powabuilda it's not a matter of disagreement...it's a matter of biomechanics. he is barely using his lats in this video - fact. it is mainly legs. i suppose it is overload for his legs...definitely not his back. just because you pick up a weight which is too heavy for you doesn't make it "overload". if you put on too many weights on the bench press and you can just lift it off the bar but can't bring it down anywhere near your chest is that overload?
dsquaredmlg 4 months ago
@dsquaredmlg In that matter I would see it as overload as it is adapting yourbodyto the heavier weigts so you will eventually be ableto lift them. That is a method have applied in my training. Plus I don't even think his form is that bad. If you look at alot o top pro bodybuilders even or example, you won' really see many of them using picture perfect form with light weights becaus it just doesn't do the job to the maximum level.
powabuilda 4 months ago
@powabuilda he isn't lifting the weight with his lats...he is lifting it with his legs
dsquaredmlg 4 months ago
@powabuilda bodybuilders always use good form because they want to isolate the right muscle groups. powerlifters don't always use good form because they are happy to lift the weight in any way possible....
dsquaredmlg 4 months ago
@dsquaredmlg Well yes powerlifting is all about the weight not what you look like unlike bodybuilders. But lookat bodybuilders like Branch Warren for example, his form isn't always the prettiest but its won him the Arnold Classic and gotten him secon at the olympia. That goes to show there is more then one style to train in..
powabuilda 4 months ago
@dsquaredmlg LOL you're joking cunt... powerlifting is ALL about form and reinforcing technique, if you don't know this you know nothing, a vast majority of bodybuilders train like shit and thus look like shit...
MAVsince1991 3 months ago
@MAVsince1991 yeh my bad I meant "strongmen"....however powerlifters usually arch their back in the bench, bounce the weight off their chest and squat to barely parallel
dsquaredmlg 3 months ago
@dsquaredmlg you still don't know what you're talking about.. powerlifters (when i say plifters i'm explicitly talking about competitive and pros that are bound by federation rules) SHOULD arch their backs for safe mechanics, bouncing the weight of their chest is a no lift, it must touch/pause before its pressed, and regulations in powerlifting state that the hips must come to parallel with the knees for recognition of the lift - there's no point going below parallel, it's where you're weak
MAVsince1991 3 months ago
@MAVsince1991 hahaha "safe mechanics"... mate, can you please spare me the shit you are making up based on nothing because I am getting way too much of that from weightlifters who think they know stuff about biomechanics and muscle function. and yes, arching your back does give you an advantage...if you've ever benched anything you would know that...why would the powerlifters do it otherwise? lol and hips are below the back...you can keep hips and knees parallel and still arch your back
dsquaredmlg 3 months ago
@dsquaredmlg heavy benching on the thoracic region (no arch) is a great way to impinge nerves and compress discs, hence, for 'safe mechanics' as you put it, powerlifters naturally arch their back so the weight transfer is put onto the upper back and cervical region.. this is in ADDITION to gaining a mechanical advantage.. your original comment was 'bbers use good form and pwlifters are happy to lift the weight any way possible' i'm beginning to think you're too stupid to argue with.
MAVsince1991 3 months ago
@dsquaredmlg and in reference to my comment about the hips must come to parallel with the knees for recognition of the lift - i was referring to the squat, i can't believe how retarded you are to think i was talking about a bench press, god you're stupid...
MAVsince1991 3 months ago
@MAVsince1991 the point is: you don't know what you are talking about, please stop pretending you do. so many "experts" with a 3rd grade education telling people how to lift on lifting videos on youtube
dsquaredmlg 3 months ago
@dsquaredmlg wow are you serious man? did you just tell a guy who works with fucking 180KG to go down to 80kg u must be one of thouse GYM clowns who work their bicpes with perfect form and bench 50KG using slow and controlled form with ur huge 11' arms lol get reall if you claimed he should use the 165KG i'd take u seriously
muzimuzi 4 months ago
@muzimuzi no way this dude could row 165. he can barely move this weight and it is only 15kg heavier...alright maybe he should be rowing 100 with form...this video is embarrassing. whatever hes doin here would not barely be working his upperback...mainly just fucking up his lower back. if im a "clown" who uses good form, you must be one of the clowns who puts 50kg too much on the bar cause you think you're impressing people while everyone in the gym laughs at your ridiculous form (like this guy)
dsquaredmlg 4 months ago
@dsquaredmlg again youre way over your head and u have no idea, my 5Rm with rows is about 120KG and i can rep 100KG eaisly, so this guy should easily rep 140 for 12 with great form if he wanted to, apperntly doing bicep curls with 10KG dBs and barbell rows with an empty bar gives you better progression tho according to you, besides i use realtivly good form in my lifts, and some people train for strength not pussy six-pack abs like my gym bicep warriors hope to acheive one day (like you)
muzimuzi 3 months ago
@muzimuzi haha cool story bro...tell that awesome story to someone who gives a fuck. i'm not impressed at all by how much you lift so there is no need to brag to me about it...it's not the 4th grade anymore. mate, i do not care at all if you fuck up your back so please direct your next comment at someone who cares
dsquaredmlg 3 months ago
@dsquaredmlg i wasnt trying to brag online like you dick head are doing, i was trying to explain how unbelivably stupid you are by misscalculating man's lift, only unexperianced noobs who barely hit the gym twoice a week to mark on the notebook that today they worked out biceps and chest, are the same idiots who dont understand numbers in lifting, besides why on earth do u even watch lifting videos if you dont "lift" yourself? i think your gnome is calling you back from world of warcraft
muzimuzi 3 months ago
@muzimuzi who said I don't lift? just because you go to the gym doesn't make you an expert on anything...you're a good example - clearly you don't understand the first thing about lifting and yet you seem to fancy yourself as a pretty awesome lifter
dsquaredmlg 3 months ago
@dsquaredmlg well where are your videos then that you allow urself to talk such trash on other people when you have no idea of anything better urself, how do i not understand the "first thing about lifting" its not like there is a part in your brain that tells u NOT to grow stronger and bigger if u use " bad form " im not saying this guy's form is supreme but he probably knows his way around if he made it to 4 plates BB rows, wont u agree?
muzimuzi 3 months ago
@muzimuzi lol it's not about your muscles not growing...it's about you fucking up your back. as well as this, he is barely using his lats in this video at all, it's mainly his legs and lower back...maybe some traps
dsquaredmlg 3 months ago
@dsquaredmlg Again im sure he would not get this big if he did it all wrong, as for the injury dum-ass methods, its all bull crap if u are strong enough to hold the weight u shouldnt have any injuires, like sometimes people see me doing cheat curls in the gym and they are all like OOH WATCH YOUR BACK, bullox unless you cant deadlift 300 pound, using your back isnt likely to get you injured, in the end of the day guys who work with small weight remain small... and get injured more surprisngly

Bent over rows ! king of back exercises along with chins, people avoid it like the plague , why ? cos its hard, breathing is difficult stabiliser muscles come into play, the whole back is forced to work as a unit, and it works , want to grow ? you got to row !
morry27 2 years ago
Well..erm actually the king of back exercises is the Deadlift, then bent over barbell rows, then chin ups, then Dumbell and babrell shrugs. Like the rhyme at the end though

wrong wrong wrong Supporting the weight makes it a free weight movement( incorporating synergists and stabilizing muscle aswel as eccentric contraction) actually you fucking moron, a compound movement is any exercise involving a group of muscles, just becasue its on a machine doesn't mean its isolation. I.e. Bench press - anterior delt, pecs and tris machine press - exactly the same. If anyone is the idiot round here its you.
megso3 3 years ago
TRUE...machines only keep you from having to use your small balancing muscles to support the free weight

I think he needs to bend over more, his way the ROM is too small and he's not using other muscles in the back. But I'm all for going hard and heavy, not silly strict form with dolly weights.
KakaCracker 3 years ago 4
Really, because I thought it was the fact that it's multi-joint that makes it a compound lift. You don't know shit. Why don't you take a look at how Ronnie Coleman, Cutler or any other pro-BB'er does rows? That's right, they do them at 70 degrees and they ain't afraid to break form b/c that is how you get big.
OGROKTEHUBER 3 years ago 2
your right mate i agree, multi-joint= compound. mtb has read to much muscle media and thinks he's an expert!
megso3 3 years ago
If you are so gay for strict form, why don't you go use a machine? Because that's all that's happening when you use strict form. You are trying to turn a compound lift into an isolation lift and using an unnatural range of motion like with an exercise machine.
OGROKTEHUBER 3 years ago
oh shit that guy is strong, good job man

Some exercises the ROM isn't as important as you'd think. Cheating is a excellent way to get past a sticking point. My form is not any better than his and my back is exploding.
