By the reaction of those ladies at 2:39 you'd think Thomas Mitchell had shaken his dick at them. Great movie this. A few years ago, well more than 30 actually, I heard it described as the greatest western ever. It's certainly one of them, top 5 or 6 for me.

Magnificent actress Claire Trevor is beautiful in this. Just saw her in "Hard, Fast, and Beautiful' at MoMA yesterday and the sun had ruined her skin terribly in the intervening decade, reducing her to playing a character villainess.

Claire Trevor is very lovely indeed. I love her movies so much. They are so hard to find. I have found quite a few though at lovingtheclassics I just googled lovingtheclassics after reading about them on another youtube classic (i think it was alan ladd)
