  • This sounds AWESOME live!

Not that it doesn't sound amazing un-live :o

Most bands are just worse at playing live, not AC/DC^^

  • Where's this version from?

  • @Tautulis7

    26.07.1976; London, Marquee

  • she took it away buddy!!! but now you got the fucker back, and you sang the best songs ever about the hell bitch!!!

  • i can't believe people did'nt dig this, no taste

  • What a voice ... god dammit !

  • One of my all time fave ACDC songs. The bass in this song just grooves so well.

  • Nice Job

  • @6.32 Would have been a fun concert

  • Brian Johnson is great and a fantastic performer but Bon... he was magic.... Best version of one the best AC/DC tracks!!!

  • R I P , Bon Scott , you're the Bad Boy Of Rock'N'Roll ! (with Lemmy )

We Shall Never Forget You !

Ride On The HighWay To Hell !

  • Where did you get this recording?! Is this a live radio show from 1976?

  • JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW YOU ARE AS CRAZY AS THIS OLD HIPPIE, BOTH SOUL STRIPPER AND OVER DOSED ARE THE BEST UNKOWN TWO SONGS THAT AC DC FANS HAVE NEVER HEARD, AND I SAY FUCK TIPPER GORE AND THE WHORE SHE RODE IN TRYING TO BAN AC DC BECAUSE SHE CLAIMED THAT THE BANDS NAME MENT ANTI CHRIST DEVILS CHILD, SO FUCKING WHAT, GET A LIFE. THANKS FOR THE POSTING

  • @duelfuel96 It cant be they only played this song in the early days

  • Mandissa75 my msn in profile! AC/DC - Soul Stripper (Live)

  • Hell Yes! I have just about everything they ever put out. Where did you find this version? Definitely ROCKS! You have any other cool tunes like this one?

  • @davemx2 This song is from High Voltage album(the version that was released only in australia) :D

  • bon looks wierd in picture in the begining but now is see why they wrote rocker

  • @pankrocknrollr I believe that is Dave Evans in the picture @ 0:10 but your probably talking about the pic @ 0:00. If that's the case yeah I agree if it wasn't for being with the rest of the band it might be hard to tell who he is

  • what the fuck are you guys arguing about ? Bon Scott better than Malcolm. What the hell is that supposed to mean ?

  • Really, what the hell does that mean?

  • @wbemp some guys were arguing about who's better, Bon or Malcolm. Complete nonsense.

  • Where can I find the whole live performance? This sounds brilliant!

  • BON SCOTT is way better then Malcolm Young. And as always Angus rules, this is my favorite AC/DC song always has been.

  • Better? At playing guitar? You are a retard.

  • @mobytheminnow on the recoeding malcolm plays most of the solo on this song, also he rights most of the early stuff. angus talks about it in a guitar world magizine.

  • @666yendis666 Malcolm Young is the brains & business of AC/DC. Without him, AC/DC would not exist - literally. Nothing happens in AC/DC before it goes through Malcolm, this includes ALL music, instruments, lyrics, band members, tour locations & set lists. The man is a musical GOD.

  • BON SCOTT IS BETTER THEN ANGUS :P

  • My favorite AC/DC song of all time. Still friggen rocks!

  • esta cancion es aun mejor en vivo KEPUTO GRUPO TAN MAS CHINGON MIS RESPETOS- ROCK AND ROLL ALL DAY I,,I

  • sehr geile pics

  • sehr geile pics

  • I wish AC/DC would go back to the old style of guitar riffs that they started out with in the begining like this song. The last song that had some really good riffs was Thunderstruck. To me, Black Ice was somewhat a dissapointment. AC/DC is still after all these years one of the hardest working bands out there. I wish Angus would wear his hair short like he had in the movie "Let there be Rock." But at least they are still putting out albums instead of riding on their past glory days like others.

  • The whole band is firing on all cylinders, not a weak note anywhere, the bass in particular standing out. As far as those who think the modern-day AC/DC with Brian should attempt this live - and they were awesome on their "Black Ice" tour - I would love to see it happen although I think it's highly unlikely. (Does anyone know if they have since Bon passed?) Love this version, it just builds, and builds.... it grows on you more than the studio version on JAILBREAK '74.

  • tienen el poder...te atrapa y lo disfrutas es como una droga ,bueno lastima x los abstemios ,jjijiii es broma los que llegan a escuchar a ac/dc , son atrapados ..... pasensela bien ....

  • i know that video at the end was not a part of the audio, but bon's wink was priceless!

  • quando la chitarra di soul stripper decollava...tanti ancora erano nati.......strip my soul when you rock 'n' roll!

  • Jeeezuzz. That opening guitar solo was BLISTERING to say the least..

  • no video ;/

  • I couldnt hear Johnsson singing this. They may have done it with him though. I'd like to hear it. I still say it's a Bon song all the way. The ittle nuances, the tone, the character in his voice are all unique.

  • great...

  • Perfect song! When chorus begining..great riff!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fuckin' awesome!!!!....Ive nver heard this live til now!

  • Malcolm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • oh this is awesome!! Soul Stripper is probably one of my all time fav AC/DC songs!...it sounds really good live!

  • i wish someone had of made hime dry out your such a loss bonn i really miss you mate rest in peace

  • Maybe, but he would not have been the same guy, thus singer. Remember, a star that burns half as long burns twice as bright. He will never be laughably old like the Stones or something, he will remain as he was, for better or worse.

  • the stones are old but they kick ass still......same with ACDC you should have used somebody else as an example haha

    like van halen or someone

    OR DEEP PURPLE

    they suck now.

  • @Mikespyke Whatever, you get my point though right? Alls I'm saying is that he left on a high note, both figuratively and in Bon's case, literally. He'll never have to suffer through "Comeback" and "Reunion" tours like other great bands have had to. He was, is, and forever will be that drunk, angry Scotsman was love so much.

    Rock in Peace Bon

  • exactly same with John Bonham. Or seinfield, never started going downhill like most bands.....yess i get you MoonCoant dont have a fit lol

  • @Mikespyke Loved Seinfeld, great show...

  • @MonnCoant

I don't think AC/DC ever had one of those two forementioned by you :O

Mainly because they don't need em lol. AC/DC is as popular as ever

  • One of the greatest Song.... Stripp my Soul..

  • ça c'est du rock'n'roll !!!

    Rock In Peace bon scott

  • 4:10 lol

  • Just realised that this song sounds a bit like 'Squealer', the bass does anyway.

  • That's Phil Rudd

    No doubt.

  • This is from the Paris Theatre, London, England, 4th September 1976 gig

very good set list also included

    Live Wire

It's A Long Way To The Top

    Sould Stripper (This)

And the Young brothers... they just kick ass!

There' never gonna be a band like AC/DC ever!

  • @daswalker1992 I agree with you, there will never be a band like AC/DC, but Airbourne are pretty close ;)

  • This is a great perfomance! The tempo reminds me a little more of Donnington sorta stuff than anything Bon did, maybe it's the heavier drums.

  • @MonnCoant It speeds up noticebly from 1.35

  • what is this recordng off of

  • it was on TNT (High Voltage) in Australia, but in the US and Canada and stuff like that its on '74 Jailbreak

  • The Only True Rock & Roll Band that Never Changed Their Style of Clothes, Music or Appearance !! They are the True Blue Collar Rockers of All Time !! Sticking to One Style made them the Legends they are Truly Are !! AC/DC will Need there own Wing at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame when they Go In !!!

  • They are in the rock in roll hall of fame

    2003!

  • Malcolms solo can be heard best in the studio version if you put your balance all the way to the left. He is the lower part of the duo in the middle part of the song. He didnt care for the pressure of soloing so he didn't do it live.

  • bon dieu c'est bon d'écouter!!! çà t'prend au tripe!!!!

  • One of my fave acdc songs ever! Thanks for posting! I remember buying 74 Jailbreak when I was 14 in 84' wore that tape out!!!

  • Malcolm should do more solo because damn hes good :D

  • @Maljanus once Angus said Malcolm could be the lead guitarist if he wanted because he was better

  • @Maljanus Malcolm, the 'voice' of ACDC.

  • True rock.

  • Comment removed

  • >And Malcolm solos in this song.

The big brother. so under appreciated!! the OTHER voice of ACDC with those power chords in most other songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bon's voice does sound especially good here.

  • Bon Scott for prez!

  • 'Strap on your air guitar'... classic.

  • this is pretty good for live. ROCK ON AC/DC!

  • I wish I'd been old enough to have seen this live. I love Brian Johnson to death, but Bon Scott is a legend!

  • Soul Stripper is one of my top 5 AC/DC songs. Although it is unknown I think it is their best song of their early career.

The guitar solo from 6:07-6:48 is a masterpiece and my favourite AC/DC solo!

  • so true! Its up there with live wire, jailbreak, hell aint a bad place to be and night prowler :) its actually really hard to make a top 5 isnt it?... to make 6 i'd put two's up... lol

  • Haha yes it is really difficult...Night Prowler is one of my favourites too.

  • Its so underrated too! Luv the riff and the solos. Crak up to 11 and enjoy

  • Yes, the solo is so fucking great!

  • dave evans sucked. thank god for bon scott. he is the real lead singer. rip bon

  • Malcolm should solo more i know he's considered great because of his rythm playing and he doesnt stray from it, but i love his solos( angus still can duckwalk better though)

  • i have seen these guys live three or four times in Australia, loved them from childhood in the 70's. i only wish todays music was as good

  • Killer pictures and awesome version of this song, Bon at his best!

  • I will send it to the kids Ha Ha Ha

  • Great pics of the biggest band in the world...

In this version, only Angus plays the solo, on the album Malcolm starts it, and they change every second beat.

    One of my favourite songs.

Lol, Bon Scott is a legend :D
