JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW YOU ARE AS CRAZY AS THIS OLD HIPPIE, BOTH SOUL STRIPPER AND OVER DOSED ARE THE BEST UNKOWN TWO SONGS THAT AC DC FANS HAVE NEVER HEARD, AND I SAY FUCK TIPPER GORE AND THE WHORE SHE RODE IN TRYING TO BAN AC DC BECAUSE SHE CLAIMED THAT THE BANDS NAME MENT ANTI CHRIST DEVILS CHILD, SO FUCKING WHAT, GET A LIFE. THANKS FOR THE POSTING
Hell Yes! I have just about everything they ever put out. Where did you find this version? Definitely ROCKS! You have any other cool tunes like this one?
@pankrocknrollr I believe that is Dave Evans in the picture @ 0:10 but your probably talking about the pic @ 0:00. If that's the case yeah I agree if it wasn't for being with the rest of the band it might be hard to tell who he is
@mobytheminnow on the recoeding malcolm plays most of the solo on this song, also he rights most of the early stuff. angus talks about it in a guitar world magizine.
@666yendis666 Malcolm Young is the brains & business of AC/DC. Without him, AC/DC would not exist - literally. Nothing happens in AC/DC before it goes through Malcolm, this includes ALL music, instruments, lyrics, band members, tour locations & set lists. The man is a musical GOD.
I wish AC/DC would go back to the old style of guitar riffs that they started out with in the begining like this song. The last song that had some really good riffs was Thunderstruck. To me, Black Ice was somewhat a dissapointment. AC/DC is still after all these years one of the hardest working bands out there. I wish Angus would wear his hair short like he had in the movie "Let there be Rock." But at least they are still putting out albums instead of riding on their past glory days like others.
The whole band is firing on all cylinders, not a weak note anywhere, the bass in particular standing out. As far as those who think the modern-day AC/DC with Brian should attempt this live - and they were awesome on their "Black Ice" tour - I would love to see it happen although I think it's highly unlikely. (Does anyone know if they have since Bon passed?) Love this version, it just builds, and builds.... it grows on you more than the studio version on JAILBREAK '74.
tienen el poder...te atrapa y lo disfrutas es como una droga ,bueno lastima x los abstemios ,jjijiii es broma los que llegan a escuchar a ac/dc , son atrapados ..... pasensela bien ....
I couldnt hear Johnsson singing this. They may have done it with him though. I'd like to hear it. I still say it's a Bon song all the way. The ittle nuances, the tone, the character in his voice are all unique.
Maybe, but he would not have been the same guy, thus singer. Remember, a star that burns half as long burns twice as bright. He will never be laughably old like the Stones or something, he will remain as he was, for better or worse.
@Mikespyke Whatever, you get my point though right? Alls I'm saying is that he left on a high note, both figuratively and in Bon's case, literally. He'll never have to suffer through "Comeback" and "Reunion" tours like other great bands have had to. He was, is, and forever will be that drunk, angry Scotsman was love so much.
The Only True Rock & Roll Band that Never Changed Their Style of Clothes, Music or Appearance !! They are the True Blue Collar Rockers of All Time !! Sticking to One Style made them the Legends they are Truly Are !! AC/DC will Need there own Wing at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame when they Go In !!!
Malcolms solo can be heard best in the studio version if you put your balance all the way to the left. He is the lower part of the duo in the middle part of the song. He didnt care for the pressure of soloing so he didn't do it live.
this song is amazing... i never heard it live... is more awesome than in studio... damn today i knew that they're coming to Chile, i hope they've play this song
