Surely that hybrid thing is a Paul Gilbert lick? I've seen him play it live in a lot of his Mr. Big solos.

@mcclurgoman The lick is your typical Gilbert thing, but I was trying to approach it with Harriosn's way of Hybrid and economy picking.

It's suppose to maximize your picking so you don't waste any motion, though in this video I was doing it pretty damn sloppy and sorta wrong. On the E string I should have played those two notes with my ring and middle finger, instead of middle then pick or what ever. There's too many ways to play something, I guess just pick what ever works for you.

Sweeet man! I love serrana! Dang that hybrid piece is awesome, is there a tab for that anywhere? I never got down the hybrid stuff. I could never get a comfortable attack with my finger =( Id love to try again though.
