Abortion is wrong. ACCEPT in the case of rape. I feel that if a woman is raped and can prove it, she should have the option to abort the child. Reason being, I don't think she should have to take care of a child that was fathered by her rapist.

What makes aborting babies conceived in love wrong is what makes aborting babies conceived in rape wrong. It is wrong because it takes the life of an innocent human being. Being conceived in rape does not make you any less of a person. You have a right to life from the moment your life begins (conception).

Having said all that, less than 1% of all abortions are due to rape so, certainly, I would support a law with an exception for rape because that would outlaw 96% of all abortions.

Ok here is my two cents. I read a story last week of a young mother who had a baby and left it alone to die. She is being charged with murder. But these so called Drs do the same thing and get away with it. This is not a matter of a mother's choice. Was it my choice to decide if any of my 5 kids were born? NO. Disturbing, but needs to be seen in order to drive the point home and make people realize what he is trying to give people the "right" to do. Why anyone would let a pregnancy get that far along and THEN decide to have this procedure is beyond me. I'm sorry, I had a friend lose her baby at 21 weeks gestation and she was destroyed.
