Richmond on a Sunday is terrible. However Vancouver isn't much better. Yesterday I saw some idiot do a left turn across 4 lanes of traffic (curb lane). On the 15th an idiot went through a red from the left turn lane straight through (came speeding in from behind the line).
Personaly I think ICBC should have cars patrolling the streets recording Lic plates for bad driving. Then you get a stenciled BD onto your car.
one more time almost getting hit by a bicycle whipping past me when I,m walking and that person gets the clothsline. I have talked to other people who have been hit while walking on the sidewalk.I have back and brain injuries and if one of these little shits hits me, they,ll probably be wishing they were in a regular accident(one time starting down the trail at the south end of the overpass) a bike flew through the air at just about shoulder height and I could feel the wind as he flew by !

Yesterday at this intersection a lady in a blue minivan with 3 kids in the back, plowed into a silver pickup who was waiting to turn toward the camera. I saw her come around the corner to the right just flying. She hit the truck at about 70 kph! Never even hit the brakes. About a min later a crotch rocket flew past at about 100 kph, narrowly missing them all. No police even showed up at all, and there was thousands in damages to the van.
If you consider that kinetic energy is proportional to the SQUARE of velocity than what you say is totally true. I think even 40 kph is enough to kill, though. I think the stastistics are:

u should make a video of keith at rush hour when people dart out into traffic. last week i was goin down keith and the lady in the truck was only looking one way and darted out infront of me i had to slam on my breaks and cone to a complete stop so i wouldnt t-bone her. lucky the vehicals behind me also stopped and didnt rear end me
hey ive lived here all my life, and i know that the road by the Arena Hill, you cant see past that bush where the stop sign is, which is mainly the reason people stop so far out, and thats on most of the roads in terrace
I have no problem with drivers creaping out to see. There are many stop signs you must go past to see down the road. Most drivers here don't look for foot or bike traffic first, just like the first driver in this.
I had it on my tripod sitting beside me. I was not sure I even got the shot. I don't recommend anyone film from their car unless the camera is secure and hands free.
