Metallica gets more credit then they deserve, as only have 4, maybe 5 good albums, and they're still treated like gods. I'll admit they're good albums, were GOOD albums, but aside from those, they're far inferior to any of the bands I had previously named.

I like Slayer too but all they really write songs about is death, war, and politics and it gets really old. I like Metallica's newest stuff. The only album I don't like is St. Anger. This song is really amazing to listen to live. I like all their instrumental pieces but this one is by far the best written. It really does a good job conveying the feeling you should get about Cthulhu. Dark foreboding, insanity.

Ohkay no. To sove this some problems here; Dave Mustaine is credited with all of the guitar playing in this song. He didnt make just a chord progression. He and cliff wrote this song. The same goes for ride the lighting.
