@TheRyanpb123 Not all "red light tickets" are to people who actually should be ticketed. I'm not sure about other areas but where I am now a stoplight goes from green to red in 3 seconds. One intersection I seen went from green to red in 2 seconds (yes I timed it). Here it also seems the time between one way turning red and the other turning green is almost instant. It is setup to make money. Nothing to do with safety. It would be safer to make the green to red time at least 6 seconds.
You don't have to pay them in areas I've ran them (Ohio). I threw the ticket away years ago when they first installed them and nothing ever came of it.

@statetrooper21 Keep in mind that althought YOU cannot get points, the VEHICLE can get infractions. AKA tickets and hassles. Because its a red light camera and they cannot identify the person driving (even if its pretty clear its you), they cannot persecute YOU as a person, but they can persecute your car which fucks you up either way.

Unfortunately, whether there is or is no traffic, a top sign still requires a full and complete stop. Just because a cop may have better things to do or not catch you, does not make it legal. You can shove someone in the store and not get arrested, but it is still assault and battery and if you are caught, you still get nailed. Just drive patiently, or take the bus...
