  • dont puff your cheecks

  • man...I played better than this my first hour.

  • A disgrace to trombones. Just keep practicing and don't puff you cheeks. Remember to play loud and use your air.

  • girl! ur cute:P but if u puff ur cheeks it goes all wrong hun. please dont add embarrising videos. n how does a lil kid get a trombone? like really?!?

  • Deosnt work well for you right now, hon. I suggest playing the trumpet first its alot easier to start out with.

    Then to trombone.

And not to puff your cheeks out that much. Make like a sour face with your lips and blow as much as you can!

  • Thats pretty good for her first time

  • dont puff ur cheaks PLAY LOUD AND PROUD :)

  • Hey, Anna, have ya gotten any better since ya made the vid? Please let us know. God bless!

  • THis is terrible! MOtley Crue is way better!

  • AWKWARD

  • Those are songs??

  • your holding it wrong

  • Its true. Ask your band teacher. If you stick with it all the way through highschool it may be possible to get a decent scholorship for college. The music we play will be really awesome. I promise you. You will regrett not sticking with it. Trust me. And you will be able to get into volleyball games, football games and baskettball games for free if you do pep band. Or jazz band. You can do it all. You have potential! Just keep practicing it'll make a huge difference.

  • @Onewholovesfashion Hahaha I'm in jazz band. its the most epic thing I've ever been in.

  • One big soldier Oh yeah One big instrument for a little girl

  • BARF lol :) jk but keep it up. You can get an awesome scholar ship someday...maybe. JUST PRACTICE

  • mmmm she sure knows how to play that tromBONE! baahahahahaaha lol

  • hey, Anna, have you gotten any better since you made this vid? I sure hope so. God bless!

  • try and play straight not down. Make sure that you get a full breath. Don't puff out your checks that makes you lose air.

  • Has Anna gotten any better since Nov. '07? God bless!

  • Bravo!!! she has potential...lmao

    slow clap*

  • love boat :D

  • She is holding it wrong and she is producing some strange sounds... Everybody, who see the trombone for the first time, does it so...

  • Fantastic she is a lot better of a player then me and Im 62 years old.

  • :-)

  • My first song was hot cross buns.. You should learn to not puff out your cheeks. You'll learn it'll get in your way. Besides the darth vader theme I learned how to play smoke on the water, iron man, minnie the mooch, ode to joy, and mega man 2 & 3 all by memory. I've been playing all my life and from my experience practice is something all trombonists need to get rids of that raspberry sound that all trombonists make when they first play a trombone.

  • @reapereater3 that was one of my first songs. I love it!!! Plus I didnt even know the song but I could make it out

  • @reapereater3 ok its minnie the MOOTCHER!! get it right lol...

  • @reapereater3 same here, loved that song cause it was the only song i could play well

  • Lol, she's so cute! The way she plays reminds me of my 6th grade year.

  • lol same here im im 7th grade now and im pretty good im in the advanced class

  • TROMBONE IS AWESOME!!!

  • good job keep practicing remember trombones rock!!!!!! hehe

  • Tromboner.

  • @KewlTurtlez I curious as to which school you go to now.

  • Comment removed

  • @FrozenIceCweam look up TDMS on Google images if that doesn't work click the dalles middle school

  • Remember: cornersdown, teeth apart, don't puff out your cheeks and correct hand position!! Practice, practice, practice!!!

  • im playng baritone in 8th grade

  • from an old trombonist let me say...''you go, girl''. the trombone is one of the oldest brass instruments and in my opinion the most majestic. it requires a lot of air that kids your age have a hard time producing. through my years as a player the best players i've played with have been girls. i don't know if they're born with it or they just practiace more.

like a lot of other things, the better one gets, the more you want to practice. remember..practice makes perfect. good luck.

  • try not to puff out your mouth when you play but nice job

  • this is pretty good for just 1 week of playing. But, I think you could play much better if you held it correctly. Just a tip. ^^ Good luck!

  • pretty good I liked the second song the best I am going to start playing for the new school year

  • aww thats so.. cute u have 2 strech your arm as far as it can go 2 get the note luv it good job

  • when i started in the fifth grade, i had to use my foot to reack 6th and 7th position. the horn was bigger than me. a huge thing. i grew into it, though. it was a conn ''director''. probably misnamed since while it was a good quality horn, it was still a ''student line'' instrument. later i bought a old 1947 model king 2-b. i still have it.

  • We all start out somewhere. It certaintly takes a while to develop!

  • I don't play the trombone my self very well, I plat euphonium/baritone, but i do play a little and really I'm not much better. What i'm trying to say is GOOD JOB

  • Awesome to see girls playing Trombone :D I started playing 5 years ago and i'm 1st trombone in my school band :D

  • i started 6 months ago and im 2nd chair and 1st in jazz band :)!!

  • this is just like me when i started =p I started last year and skipped to juniorhigh honor band lol- i was proud of myself

  • Nice job, i started out the exact same way, i had trouble hitting the notes, now im first chair in my school band, first chair in my school honor bad, second chair in my school jazz band, and i made 3rd chair on the all county band

You have the potential, just keep practicing and never, ever give up

  • hey work at it. Im sure you'd do great. I started out like this too. Also, its cool to see a girl playing the trombone. Rock On!!!

  • Yea tighten lips becuase I play trombone and if you want to get high notes, tighten lips and breath faster/blow more air though,

    ~ =NcB= Giggity Giggity

  • Ignore all the negative comments. Just keep practicing! I'm sure you have potential to be an excellent player, if you work at it!

  • I agree with MannDexx. When i started playing, it was pretty much like this. And today, im Denmarks Champion with my orchester. And i've played 6 years.

  • está niña será una estrella con el trombon de mayor, recuerden mis palabras!!

  • i started in 5th grade and now im a freshman in high school and i have first chair.

  • u need to tighten ur lips

  • Uhhhhhhhhh. Eyebrow? What the shit? I think you are supposed to use your lips for that. If you are first chair I would hate to be in your band. You must suckkkk.

  • I think that was me in the begininng too! Ive had mine for 2 years now...much inprovement! Just practice- practice lots. TRUST ME it helps..a lot. :]

(And I think its awesome more girls are gettin into the tbone! Im a chic too! Go Girl Tbones!)

  • very big soldier...

  • u suck girl get anthoer instroment just kidding keep practising it sounds bad but keep going

  • If you are going to criticize people, learn how to spell. That was just ridiculous. Horrible spelling child.

  • good job been playin da trombone for a vouple of years now but just wanna give some advice you dont wanna puff your cheeks when you play and try to move your mouth up and blow cold air to play your high notes your doing awesome keep up the good work

  • not to be negative...but...since when was gthere a "break"? and i wouldnt suggest doing anything like raising your eyebrow...i dontsee that doing anything but you shouldnt have to change anything embouchure wise as you go higher.

  • you play good but all the notes sound the same.

  • dnt puff ur cheeks.. drop ur jaw... and keep practicing.. i play trombone also.... i have both a trigger and my regular horn...

  • very good job, if you keep it up, i bet u will be one of the finest trombonists ever. i play trombone myself and i know a good trombonist when i hear one.

  • dont puff your cheeks. if you dont it will sound better

  • she rocks i dont think i could play that in a week.lol and im 12
