  • Directed by David Lynch.

  • Got it wrong, it's ''Good, By God, I'm Going To Bodie.'' The correct quote is in the Book of Bodie by Ella M. Cain who was born in Bodie in I believe 1882 and grew up there and went to college and returned to teach in the same school that stands today.

  • Got it wrong, it's ''Good, By God, I'm Going To Bodie.''

  • Wow Stephen this is aweome. No clue where you got it from but awesome. I have visited Bodie a dozen times are so and love. Even named my dog after it. To see it here in this documentary well before it became a state park is crazy. I love it

  • Big THANKS for posting this video. I like how it provides a double dose of history: 1) the history of Bodie itself as well as 2) the treatment of the subject in what appears to be a late-1940s or early-1950s documentary. I was able to visit Bodie for the first time in 2007 and found it fascinating.

  • Thank you for posting this Stephen, I love this type of history!!
