Eskimo till death. Those first 4 12"-es changed my life. Perfect music, perfect albumart, perfect band. Took me a long time to find out they played a lot of covers. When I did I hated the bands they covered :-).

The song is good, the hook is good, the bit from about 3:15 to 3:45 is particularly catchy for a middle eight, bridge thingy. Too bad they didnt take the video a bit more seriously.

As a US Mission fan, I always wondered why 120 Minutes (MTV's late Sunday night "alternative" show) never played any Mish song (with the exception of a couple airings of "Wasteland").

Now I know why.

Sadly, All About Eve (who are one of my absolute tip-top all-time favorites) suffered a similar fate due to bad videos.

This was great when Hussey sang live at Glastonbury ('89 I think). God's Own Med was the last decent record they put out. Their best stuff was the early Slaughterhouse recordings of Serpent's Kiss, Wake etc...oh, & their Whistle Test set. Are there any true eskimos still out there....?

They are fantastic live,saw them approx 1987 as support act for U2 at Murrayfield stadium,Scotland,they blew U2 away!!!!

Been a fan ever since,their playing 4 nights on the trot in Shepherds Bush London,i'll be there.
