  • What is the sound at the start?

  • The music is introduced with a carillion, this may have been the first piece of music that i added them to and they are a bit overdone. The electro mechanical bells are about 60 years old and probably came from a theatre organ. They consist of metal rods with carefully set weights to balance out the unwanted harmonics, each has a solenoid to strick it and an individually adjustable magnetic pick up. Very clever and a realistic sound.

  • I recognise the piece as one I'm playing with a percussion group. According to my part it's called Mambo Jambo but is that what it's really called?

  • yes Mambo Jambo is the title

  • Amazing sound, well done John Smith on another winner! Keep the good work up.

  • Fabulous, well impressed.Did you make it yourself, or was it a complete organ which you installed into a caravan?

  • Juliana is all my own work, designed to emulate three types of organ, fair, dance and Decap.

  • Well done indeed. i was a church organ builder for 22 years before de-camping, you seem to have the action work working well, how did you come about the pipes, were they ex church etc, or did you buy them new?

  • Juliana sounds good, you have a great job of re-valving the wind chest.

  • god job...and how does the back of the organ looks like?....
