It's not japanese, it's not any language, it's made up from made up words by Yuki Kajiura. It's probably "fan-art" on that website you found it. Anyways, it still rocks.
romaji lyrics: Kire kagima saibastia Kiweta i adora i amena i adesta idela Asora i adora i asora i yamasa ...idita dora (Kasa melistora Imeta li aora i kasa melindora Ilyia iya Kasa melistora Imeta li aora i kasa melindora Ilyia) Kire kagima saibastia Inaria miamenta Asora ita saibastia Imilia iyasii iya Kiweta ita saibastia Inaria miamenta Asora ita saibastia Imilia iyasii (Kasa melistora Imeta i aora kasa melistora i kasa melindora) Ilyia...
I picked out the words 'Kire' (beautiful/pretty) in Japanese, and Ilyia is similar to Latin. Since the story takes place in all kinds of worlds and dimensions, when I saw these lyrics, I at once thought "Oh, this is the language of Clow, or perhaps a common language that Mokona translates all their languages into" It's not that far fetched, right? Since Fai, Kurogane, and Syaron couldn't understand each other without Mokona...and, Mokona isn't human.
All right if this is a made-up language she did. It's like she compiled japanese with few others. Kinda like Enya n that woman that did the Gladiator movie, can't remember her name :/
I love Tsubasa Rservior Chronicles and this song! I love Yuki Kajiura's songs, but someitmes, I don't understand half of it. Do you know the webist from which you got your translation lyrics from?
yuki uses made up sonds to express her feelings in a song. they aren't real words. if you really listen carefully you can imagine the feelings that she intended to express in the sounds and music of the song. i doubt there is an english translation for it though
How can you translate a made up language? ._.U Unless yuki herself had translated it... but as far as I know it's done like this because it sounds really beautiful, something along the lines of Enya.
No...um, it's not in any language at all. Yuki Kajiura, the composer for Tsubasa's songs, sometimes makes up her own chants in her own "Kajiurian" language.
It's apparently a mix between Japanese and English, and she has her singers sing it.
so where'd the "translations" come from. Did Kajiura officially provide translations to her lyrics (if so, I'm interested in knowing what possible source supplies such information), or did the site Arleran mentioned just make crap up?
From Wikipedia on Yuki Kajiura: "Chants: It is not uncommon for Kajiura's songs to have a choir performing ominous chants (either as a supporting role or as the main driving force of the song) and some have dubbed this style 'Kajiuran'. The Yamanii chants in the song nowhere that is featured in MADLAX is a good example of this. Other examples of Kajiuran are from the songs A Song of Storm and Fire (from Tsubasa Chronicle) and MATERIALISE (from My-Otome)."
I'm not sure, I believe someone just made them up. The English lyrics don't really fit the song at all. Also, 'A Song of Storm and Fire' is definitely not Japanese. I own the soundtrack CDs and the piano music books and there is no English translation of 'A Song of Storm and Fire' in them.
the language is either latin or italian

I saw her Wiki article. That still doesn't explain where the translations came from, if they're even real.
