  • The Wii wins because the online membership is free which means I save $133.18 per year. Look at the cost. You can't get to Netflix without a Gold membership with the Microsoft Xbox 360. That's a -lot of allowance money for a 7 year old.

  • 4:36 Lol Kamasuthra on queued thats pretty darn interesting

  • you miss understood what i sed and buy the way i have worked closs with both microsoft playstation and nintendo and to get true 1080p the only system to do it with a game is xbox360 the ps3 can do it with blueray but still newer ps3s have a lesser video synk chip and codac. and what i meed is true blueray is uncompressed you cant play a trueley uncompressedvideo or game without a harddrive hooked up becus a standered blueray disk for instece is at 50 percent comprechsion to fit on a disc.

  • @congojoea nope only oncee

  • every time i put the instant streaming disc for my ps3 a message pops up saying that i cannot connect to netflix to try again later i dont know wtf is going on

  • Dude, not missing out anything if you choose the Wii? Yeah, u miss the fucking HD!

  • Great video! Only thing i could suggest would be to put the camera on a tripod/stand to make it more stable. Or you could purchase a capture card and do a commentary over the recorded video (: just some ideas (:

  • What kind of internet are you running on this like your speed?

  • in fact GC is capible of a better signal output than the Wii is. The wii is capible of better graphics than GC, but GC is capible of doing output resolutions much higher than wii. Wii's max signal output was downgraded to compensate for it's tiny console size, so it is not capable of a HD3D signal, while the Gamecube was.

  • In fact an interesting fact is that the PS2 was technically capible of outputting a 1080i definition signal but it was only used in 3 games (Gran Turismo 4 was one of them).

So that was definatly a HD console in terms of technical capibility. And also another interesting console fact, the Gamecube was designed to be 3D capable about 8 years before TV tech catched up to it(and several years after the console died).

  • dude, 480p is a HD resolution.... just not fullHD...

wii does 480p, and is technically capable of 720p. It was doing Hood in HD, just not 1080p.

  • @colliric Actually no, 480p is not an HD resolution because my Standard TV in my room runs 480p.

  • @MechWarrior324

    no that is not correct

The standard HD resolutions are 480P, 576P, 720P and 1080P. These are the industry standards for HD, at least in Australia.

Your standard TV actually qualifies for HD classification.

  • @colliric They've been making 480p TVs since like, the 1980's we have a TV from 1995 that runs a 480p resolution, and my PS2 games run at 480p. Maybe 480p isn't considered HD in America, I don't know.

  • @MechWarrior324 Yes but the diffrence is the broadcast signal is Analogue, and the signal was broadcast in Interlace, which is a Standard Def signal. HD 480P is only allowed to be a Digital broadcast in Progressive scan only. And PS2 does not qualify because it was only late in the console's cycle that it had games that made full use of 480P and 16*9 widescreen. The Wii does that with a high percentage.

And yes it is not HD in america, but it is considered a HD standard over here.

  • @colliric I'll reply to several comments of yours here. The Wii and the Gamecube are both capable of reaching 1080i/1080p resolutions with an HDMI cable, but they are not native resolutions, they are upscaled, but at least they're possible. My Tv can run 480p/480i but is not a plasma or LCD screen, so I am not sure whether it is an HD or SD screen. lol

  • @MechWarrior324

you are not correct the Wii is not nativly capable and I know why. It's graphics card is only capable of processing a maximum 720p resolution. It was the major price they payed for a tiny system. Better Graphics, Lower res output!

GC was capable of it nativly. It had a card that could process 1080p just like the PS2 did(with it's 1080i potential component cable output). It would have done so through a component cable. It was never used because TV tech was behind game tech.

  • is that a striper pole in your house reflecting from your TV????

  • How the heck do you search for movies on the Wii? I can't find the option? =/

  • Check out Jarhead. Looks so much better than any other hd movie on there

  • Cannibal! The Musical!

  • hahaha im likin the ghetto tripod; a person standing there for 10 minutes shaking like crazy. Hahahahaa

  • "And finally the last but LEAST"

  • hahaha pokemon 3 the movie

  • pokemon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the wii quality is actually pretty good. besides, its not like you watch up close to the tv anyways

  • Nice Mario statue

  • Coll blue Wii remote

  • what did i say i cant remember?

  • not as good of quality as on the 360 but then again the xbox is the only system that will upconvert to 1080p

  • @vorkev1 Wow do your research, the PS3 runs 1080p/1080i on most of it's games, read the back of the game cases, and it also runs blu ray movies in 1080p/1080i.

  • @MechWarrior324 480p is HD not SD. do your research. so any standard tv you have is 480i.

  • @MArKas6789 480p may be HD but its no where near the quality of 720p.

  • Thanks for the feedback!

  • BUSTED POKEMON THE 3RD MOVIE FTW

  • ps3 and 360 are the better choices to watch netflix with. HD compatible

  • Same shit man, Netflix on the WIi is the same shit as 360 and ps3

  • @jordanvideosnintendo does it have hd?

  • no, but HD in old movies dont do much difference..

  • @jordanvideosnintendo ummmmmm ok......

  • @viper5400

What if we don't give a shit about HD?

  • @MrBowserPuffi who is we?

  • @viper5400

Me and the rest of my family. We bought an HD TV because it was all they had, we don't really give much of a shit about picture quality.

  • @MrBowserPuffi well i guess. u gave a good point.

  • dexter...

    garbage....

    KILL THE HERETIC!

  • For movies HD or SD doesnt make much difference. Tha'ts why I don't mind in buying a blu-ray player right now.
