I've stopped using Chrome and went to Opera because the download speed on Chrome is stuck at 50kB/s but on Opera, It doubles my download speed to +600kB/s. Can you help me with the Chrome issue? :D

In the next 5 yrs I see technology going to 4G and phones improving on video calling and tablets coming into their own. But technology is so big that its hard to say with the great competition.

Mac don't get viruses because of a technical reason, OS controls everything and Apps have to take permission from OS to do certain things, if OS finds it dangerous it closes it down.

I have Windows 7 PC and I have a MacBook with OS 10.6. Snow Leopard and seriously MAC OS is very stable and user friendly, Windows is just too sluggish even on my 2.8 i7.

@Greeniemaxx As much as I like your attempt at praising Apple, thats not how it works. The OS does NOT control everything. There are viruses for Macs, but hackers want to target the bigger population. Its not hard to make a Mac virus, I've done it, but its locked away tightly in a disk image. Macs are actually easier to hack than Windows, because they are based off of UNIX, now UNIX is a filesystem which makes it easy to make connections are transfer files. I can crash a Mac on the same network

@AppleHack23 I didn't say virus didn't exist for MAC OS, the number of open holes to be filled are very few, if I am a decent enough programmer making a key logger is not a big deal in Windows but it's impossible on MAC OS as user has to set predefined keys in OS and not on the App.

Hooking to WM_KEYDOWN isn't a problem on Windows or using ProcessMessage to hide as if nothing happened, you can't hook keys on MAC even with a deamon running in the background.

@AppleHack23 Problem with Windows is it's original design which never changed from Windows 95 with Open Registery system to use of Open access to Different Application by another or use of DLL files that could be modified without user or app even knowing about it, executing a different process that the programmer never intended to execute. This are major problems with Windows that aren't even solved in Windows 7, to solve it the whole architecture has to be changed.

@iPCARMY I said that Mac will go down if Apple quits innovating with it. Which hasn't happened yet and probably won't. As for Windows 7 being clunky and crashing, bull. It's crashed once since day one of it's release for me using it hours and hours a day and when I use it the word clunky does NOT come to mind.

As for Safari, it's just not better than any other browsers right now. It's not terrible, but there are better options.

Its just a browser like any other, It does nothing more than chrome or opera. I think people just use it because its from apple. I have it for one reason: I do web development.

Safari has nothing of special(speed, addons, stability, security) as compared to chrome.
