I've played lots of scary games, but they aren't as scary as F.E.A.R (1) and F.E.A.R 2. When suddenly a monster comes you're like. WOAH DUDE! >:D

Also, she DOES care for Becket by the end. That's why she doesn't try to melt him, why she makes herself look 'sexy', why she constantly asks you "don't you see?" and freaks out when she doesn't understand why you reject her.

She' definantly not evil... just bent of destroying the people who destroyed her life/body...left her to die in a vat of fluid.

Revenge can turn in the sweetest people into monsters,which is the point of the game I suppose.

Alma behaves like any other person put into her horrid position. Even if she hadn't been abused and neglected, she still would have been horribly messed up by being attuned to the negative side of people around her.

What annoys me is the fact that people think in black and white. It's not hard to accept that Alma's actions are bad, even if she's sympathetic, and that Armacham needs to be stopped as well. ATC has done horrible things to the protagonists, and Alma has done the same too.

It'll point out some of Aristide's own "visions" of the situation, also telling why she really wanted to open the vault.

Greed and shortsightedness seem to sum aristide up pretty good.

the qoute "mother of the apacolypse." in my opinion is going to be the subject FEAR 3. Almas 3rd child is born and will become even more powerful than Alma triggering a chatastrophie around the globe. replica facilities are activated across the globe also making it so replicas are present every where. realising the threat Alma Bekett and the Point Man unite against a threat bigger than the imagination. NOTE this is my interpretation of FEAR 3 dont take it seriously

She protects the Point Man in the First Game more than she hurts him. And she loves Becket so I don't see where people are getting her being evil in the first place. Revenge is her motif, and that does not make someone evil, I assure you.

Alma never tries to protect you in the first game. That was in the horrible expansions, which do not count in F.E.A.R. 2's story.

That said, she DOES care for her son, and she DOES like Becket. To the point that she'll be willing to kill her son in order to have him forever, and to violently rape Becket in order to consumnate her affection and birth his unwanted child....

The expansions don't count in F.E.A.R. 2's storyline because they were made by a different company.

In the first game, Alma tries to embrace her son...and doing so would have actually killed him. THAT made sense.

Alma is still "evil". Well, in her actions, at least. The second game merely makes her more understandable, sympathetic and believable as a human being, in my opinion.

She's not just out for revenge, she's out for someone to ease her loneliness. She's fulfilled that with Becket and the baby she made with him.
