That was a beautiful delivery and birth. It's was exciting to see how well the baby was prepared for her own birth. You both did it just perfectly. She just sailed away from your body. That had to be a terrific push. Congratulations a little late but well meant just the same. God Bless all of you.
@YoungSouthernBelle@YoungSouthernBelle She was born at our house, as planned. You can read more at dearbaby.harringtonhouseandgardens(dot)com if you're interested :)
Best waterslide ever!! Only joking. Well done!! Im 19 weeks preggs tomorrow. Not brave enough to do a homebirth tho. Anyway big congrats from me in France. :)
@xmissxbeckyxfryx Merci!! Congratulations on your pregnancy. Many people told me that I was "brave" for planning a homebirth, but I just believe that humans have been doing this for thousands/millions of years (depending on your viewpoint), so it's just something 'natural' to do. I believed that my body was perfectly designed to give birth, so it stopped being 'scary' or something only 'brave' people could do.
Amazing job

Great birth....a shame the other bubs was crying in the background as you can't really hear your little one take the first cry.
Congrats

Well, I`m happy for you. As long as the mom is happy that really is all that matters in each birthing enviroment.

@kmomathome Oh - I'd not have had it any other way! If it weren't for her baby boy (Leonardo), we would have never met (long story! lol).
I'm toldd that in the final pushes, the dogs downstairs started howling!
But I was totally oblivious to it.
Incidentally, I took Eliza to see baby Leonardo a couple of days ago. He's 3 months older than she is ... but she was only a scant 1/2" shorter.
As Frank likes to say, "Make 'em big, Make 'em beautiful"

@randyorton65100 The baby crying in the background is my doula's son. He was crying because he was hungry, and his mother was helping deliver Eliza.
Though you can't hear them, our three dogs started howling in the inal seonds of Eliza's birth.
