@goatboy679 i love Rock & Roll. I saw Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard and Chuck Berry in 1993. Bo Didley is one of the first punk rockers, too. In the 70' Punk Rock mean the return of Rock and Roll: no long songs, fun songs, raw and good themes. Call it Garage Rock , R & B or &%/(); I'm talking about the same thing: The Ramones. @Hdpyou Rock n roll has been around non stop since chuck berry, jerry lee etc. There was never any return of rock n roll.Punk was just a load of petulant teenagers makin noise. Pretending to be rebels & that bullshit, Jerry lee didnt have to dress like a freak and stick metal through his face to be a rebel. Nothin wrong with long songs either & if u want raw jimi hendrix is as raw as you'll get, dosent edit out the white noise or feedback in the studio, so it sounds exactly like it would live.
